Hi everyone

I'm just getting into Warmahordes, and I'm a little unclear on how I can go about adding Minions units/solos to my Circle army. From what I have heard, it sounds like in particular the Gatorman Witch Doctor and Swamp Gobbers would be good to add to my selection of models. Are there any restrictions/requirements I need to be aware of? Or can I simply add either/both units straight into my Circle lists? If there's a decent description of how this works in the main Hordes rulebook feel free to throw me a page reference, as I haven't had much luck finding a good, clear description of this.

You must check the particular model/units card to see if it can be included in your Circle army. Each card will say which armys the unit will work for.

I believe both the Swamp Gobbers and Witch Doctor are legal for Circle but you better check the cards to be sure.

As for including them they are just another unit or solo in your army. Note they are not of your faction, so spells and abilities that effect only Faction models/units will not work on them.


Some more general restrictions,

Minion Warbeasts can only be commanded by a Minion Warlock IIRC, and some even can only be used by certain Warlocks. Gatormen Warbeasts for example can only be used by Gatormen Warlocks. No giving Baldur a Wrastler for example.

The rules for minion warlocks and warbeasts are on p85 of Hordes.
Battle college has a list of which minions will work for which faction. Also, you should be aware that some mercenaries will also work for circle.
