Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

I have always wanted to build a decent sized Deathwing Force, Terminators are my favorite models in the game, I had started them once before and then sold them off to fund another project. I then picked up a few of the termies from the Dark Vengeance set and rather enjoyed painting them, as I love the color scheme and fluff behind it. I left it at that because I am also building a Sons of Horus army at this point, that was until I saw the new models releasing, immediately pre-ordered a bunch and here we are. Anyway that brings me to this little ditty... I decided since I am doing all DW, but wanted to also have some fast attack/air support to fight the other flyers in my local group, that I would paint this one in the DW Scheme (Coincidentally I am not a huge fan of the RW scheme to start). However I figured it was something like a loan from the RW so I left the couple pieces of iconography and even made it piloted by a RW member, since DW is all terminators.
Let me know what you think!

Thanks, it's the red I have used on my Death Wing Termies in the past, it's just a lot of it on this thing haha.

Its refreshing to see a more original paint scheme for a flier instead of the "usual".

With that bright of a red, you should highlight the edges with some skull white, gold, or other light tertiary color. I've done it with a dif color and it makes it look fantastic. If your army is more than 2 colors.. even better.

I will definitely take a look into that before I throw some Matte Varnish on this one, thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks all for the kind words! I think it was good to take the different approach. Still trying to decide on how I want to base all of these guys, but more to come when I decide what army I actually want to finish first.
@Elder -- haha yeah, I actually assembled all of the DW on Saturday, my FLGS put them out on Thursday Night (oops), so I capitalized on that and picked up all of my stuff. It literally took me probably 6+ hours to paint that nephilim.
