The Necron digital codex was update a few days ago and contained some information that hasn't been released in a FAQ yet.

Has anyone made a cracked version for Android yet?

Possibly, but your comment really adds nothing to the discussion either. Whether Pretre is an apple user or not, he's quite correct that it's inappropriate to ask for cracked versions of things on this forum.

Back on topic, it finished downloading, but the only thing I can think of to check is if they cleared up Abbadon joining marked units, which they did not as far as I can see ( I looked in Abbadon's entry and the section on Marks).

Check to see if it is cool to take multiple Chaos Artifacts.

It says you replace one weapon with one Artefact. One of each Artefact per army.

Hey, I have the physical copy. The least they could do is at least let me see the updated version instead of making me pay for an entirely new version on a device that I'm not planning on buying.

Another question; Has the Noise Champion entry been fixed-up yet to give him the options for a Sonic Blaster and/or a god-damn basic CCW?! (I'm really, really pissed about the no basic CCW... Since now the only legal way to gain the +1A for additional weapon to buy a very costly plasma pistol. )

I'm not sure what the old entry looks like (I'm at work and don't have a paper Codex in front of me).

The entry now says:

- Any Noise Marine may take a CCW for x points per model,
or replace his Boltgun with a CCW or Sonic Blaster.

Yeah, but I guess some people take that as "Only Noise Marines" and not "Any Noise Marine including the Champion."

No you're not. They take those down pretty quickly. If you see a WD scan in the news and rumors forum, hit the yellow triangle to report it. Mods can't check every post in every thread all of the time.

No you are, look at the recent DA thread its in the first post. You are allowed to post links to the illegal scans. In fact they were originally pics but the OP hadto change them to links.

It was reported, that's why it was changed to links instead of actual pictures.

There's a difference between leaked pictures previous to a release and a scanned codex. They are generally handled differently as well by the mods.

Then PM yackface, as he's the one that made the decision.

I honestly thought and think its ok to post links for white dwarf, and I thought he might have got confused that's all.


Any way, did any one find any actual rule changes of is it just an update to the program or something ?

I'm not seeing any new FAQ's on the GW website for Chaos Space Marines. It'd be silly to do it for the iPad update and not there, though. Stranger things have happened.

When I looked at the update this morning, the reason was 'FAQ update'.

Also, the Necron digital codex was updated a few days ago as well. That update contains a clarification to the Night Scythe rules that isn't in the FAQ, so there is some precedent for GW sneaking it into the digital products before the FAQs.

Lame. Only ipad codex users get the most recent FAQs now?

It was probably just updating to what the FAQ says. Heldrake prices, and Mark of Khorne + Daemon of Khorne.

But if they were the only ones to get the new FAQ, that's just stupid. You see why I'd want to get a version for Android, right?

Yes, of course we do, everyone would like multiple formats. The difference is that we don't request illegal activities to do so.

I have an iPad but there no way I'd pay full hard back price for a digital copy. That's crazy to me, they should at least make it the price of the soft covers
