Just a little while ago, I received a commission to paint up some Eldar Corsairs from Forge World, along with an Autarch to lead the group.

They're meant to work well with either dark or craftworld Eldar as allies. I don't know that they need much more introduction, so here they are.

Thanks.

I found that I rather liked painting that particular orange. I'm going to find more projects that use it now.

Great colour scheme, really do like the orange.

It's a bit weird how the guns look a little flat compared to the Corsairs themselves but that's how the models were done, not your painting.

The leader of these guys is awesome! Can I ask what color paints you used for the pinky-purpley bits? You captured a softer set of shades that I have been looking for on one of my own projects, and I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

Welcome to the Freakshow!

Great use of color. I know what you mean about the orange. I find a new color and just cant wait to use it on some new project. Eldar are just so fun to paint, please post more.

Just forgot what I was going to say.

Sorry I didn't get back to you quicker.

The purple is mostly defined by P3 Beaten Purple, shaded with Reaper's Burgandy Wine, and highlighted with Vallejo's Sunny Skin Tone (if I'm remembering that right).

great painting on the corsair prince, but i despise the Corsair models. I just grabbed DE scourges without wings, threw DA stuff on them and then WHF Corsair heads.
