I recently changed the fluff of my DIY chapter who were the Angels of Aurum (Latin for gold) a Dark Angels successor chapter, but alas I grew tired of the colour scheme I did for them so I advanced their story line! Now I'm no writer so I haven't written a short story or anything but basically a splinter fleet of Hive Fleet Kraken invaded their home world and wiped out 90% of them and they were only saved due to the Salamanders and Imperial Guard coming to their aid! Only a few members of the 1st company survived who were much like the Deathwing in that they only wore TDA.

So the old scheme is the first picture (Angels of Aurum) and the ones after that are the new scheme. The left shoulder pad is yellow to honour their past when they were the Angels of Aurum and the right shoulder pad is red for the blood that was shed on their home world. They are pretty much just the Red Scorpions scheme and this no coincidence as I'm very fond of their scheme. Lastly 12 of my Terminators are from Space Hulk so I needed to come up with a reason for the blood drops. What did I come up with? Well they're the only survivors of the Tyranid assault and decorate their armour to commemorate this every other Terminator I now own is a new recruit (well I'll just say this happened 50 years ago or something as I don't think they let scouts jump into TDA.

I Am loving the darker colors on the gray one, He looks amazing!!!! Reminds me of a dark colored space wolf
and I love the pj of the Angel of aurom? I think you called it, all but the gold... Its to bright on a dark pallet.

Yeah the only worry I have with him is he looks too space wolfy! lol and yeah the gold was one of the reasons I grew tired of the other scheme. The base is very basic - Just Pva glue some sand from the beach then spray paint black and dry brush 2 shades of grey.

AMBUSH!!!! The Bloodwing is ambushed by a Tyrannofex while he assaults a Biovore! (Also the Biovores base a i little wonky because he hasn't actually been attached to it yet)

Look too much like space wolves for a dark angels successor chapter for my taste. A little highlighting on the red would help it stand out, maybe a bit of snow on the grey hasevwould look really nice

Redid them

Made them look less like Space Wolves and tried to give them more depth. A step forward or back? Also still need to drill their gun barrels
