From the creators of the Dwarf Adventures comes the Gnomes!

Slightly different pledge values this time around. They seem to group the gnomes into several (well for now 2) packs that have higher pledge values for a discount when bought together

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2087444096/gnomish-adventurers-box-set?ref=category

Known for their ingenuity and guile, gnomes rely heavily on their wits and underhanded tactics to lay low much larger foes. The gnome's insatiable thirst for knowledge turns them to paths that vary from arcane mastery to the physical sciences. While humans and other larger races often find the gnomes' reasoning baffling, gnomes are capable of supreme acts of heroism and valor. Gnomes can be one the most interesting races to play in any RPG and add flavor as NPCs and opponents. Don't let the chance to play a member of this distinctive and charming race pass you by. We guarantee that you will find more uses for them than lawn decor!

The Gnomish Adventurers Box Set Project is about creating miniatures to represent a set of 5 Gnome heroes. The Group will include a wizard, a warrior, a thief, an archer, and an artificer. The goal here is simple: get the 5 miniatures sculpted, cast, and distributed to all of you! We have a variety of stretch goals planned that will enhance and diversify your Gnome Adventurers. The Gnomes will represent a relatively balanced adventuring party and/or a selection of Gnome heroes to lead any fantasy army.

The Gnomes will be sculpted by sculptor Mike Evans on a 28 millimeter heroic scale and cast in lead-free white pewter metal; fitting well with almost all tabletop wargaming and RPG miniatures.

I didn't see this one posted, but I'll chime in here.

Picked up a gak load of the figures. They were sculpted in metal, and the "Troll" is cast in resin. The figures look to be on line with the other style, and the figures, if they do what they did last time, will look exactly the same as the picture.

All in all, an excellent product, and at 39 bucks for 10+ they really are a pretty good looking deal.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

This is very cute. Had no interest in the dwarves... but this and elves would be hard to resist.

The Mad Scientist is just pure gaming gold though!

Blarg they keep updating the images every time they hit a stretch. Mehtinks it's too bothersome to post them

Yeah, I'm a tremendous fan of this company, having indulged in their last project. The minis they put out before are awesome as heck, their aesthetic is pretty unique, and they are really nice folks to boot!

In for the long haul, here. Already pledged up for the first 3 sets.

Are there some good pics of the dwarven adventurers casts out there (or even a painted set)? For some reason, I Really like the art and the vibe these guys have going for them, but the pics I've seen of the resulting models left me somewhat less interested...

I was really tempted by the dwarf one, but in the end felt that I rightly stayed out after I saw the concept art to model transition. Does someone have pics to show me that I was wrong? Because I haven't seen any that have made me think so yet, but maybe I've been missing something...

Yeah Alph, and now that I'm searching some of the others I'm starting to think I might've liked these after all! (the dwarfs, not the gnomes)

Is there a pic of the complete set of models funded in KS1 anywhere? (Or can one of you who got the complete set, which apparently 1000 or so people did, take a pic? )

@RiTides: My pics aren't very good, and my painting is definitely lacking, but here is a pic of all of my painted Stonehaven miniatures The first line has pics on both pages, so you'll have to scroll to the bottom and go to the next page to see all of the ones there.

This one only has pics in the OP.

Thanks, recruittons! I really like your fallen king model paint job . And I just now realized that your avatar is the stonehaven troll! (I think I thought it was a small model before and with such a small pic that threw me off from realizing what it is)

I am, however, trying to limit the number of models I pick up that I have no use for and as a non-RPG player, I really don't think I'd have much use for these. Although, at the rate they're going, it seems they'll have several sets out soon, so maybe they'll make something for people to use these in.

Those are some great pics, thanks Makaleth! Stonehaven should Really get some bigger/better pics of the minis on their store site. I know you can mouse over them to zoom in, but they look nothing like the pics on his site (as apparently his painted minis are the ones shown in their store, but it's like night and day compare to what you can see of them on his blog!).

No Gnome Illusionist or Illusionist/Thief makes me a sad Old School RPGer!

It's been suggested (a lot), so here's hoping they come through! The female long gunner was requested in the comments, so I'm hoping they do the illusionist as well!

The chinese rocket launcher the demo expert is holding makes me happy. Also, the monk has a serious Quai Chang Caine vibe which I dig.

The Monk is the only one that I don't love... nice, but not something I would normally get.

That being said... I am sure someone will love him in my D&D group... or I might just keep them together as they are obviously friends.

See, the brawler and male long gunner are my least favorites thus far. I think it's the completely out of place feeling of the mace and shield on the brawler for how he is dressed. And the male long gunner just seems... boring? I dunno. It could also be that I could never use him in a D&D game because I don't have guns in my games.

Regardless, I'm getting everything. There is just too much amazing stuff there.

I've pledged for two sets having missed out on the Dwarven kickstarter but the only thing that concerns me is that the overall style for the dwarves (and the artwork for these gnomes seems similar) is that everything seems quite... static.

I don't mind a bit of an 'action' pose on some of my minis, sometimes ;P

LOVE the concept behind the Armored Troll!

Might have to pick up another 'regular' Troll too...

Anyone know if they are any closer to adding in a Gnome Illusionist?

We could always use the Thief model as an Illusionist/Thief, but where's the fun in that?!?

I know, right?! I've been asking for it! Although, we are coming to the end of the pre-built sets once it hits 95k, so I think at that point, we're more likely to see it as an add-on. Or I hope we do because come on gnome illusionist!
