Also I'm thinking of running a 40k campaign, I've spoken to Greg about it already, if any one is interested. It's node based all you need is 1750 points of 40k doesn't even need to be one army just as long as they can be allies. I know we've not had alot of luck running campaigns in the past but that's because I wasn't running them only joking. Seriously if your interested I need 2-3 people I'll bring my notes Monday so you can decide from an informed basis

Hey guys, my name is Owen, I first started playing over 15 years ago and used to play at GW vets nights in the late 90s, i Just recently got back into the hobby (well September last year) and slowly finding a suitable arrangement to fit all the hobby awesomeness into my life!
Primarily a WHFB player, I'm looking to test my burgeoning Empire collection and see how things go, who knows, maybe some big tournaments in the future.
I'd love to come down to the club on Tuesday and meet you all. I'm sure there will be a few faces I recognise, Formosa for sure (Hi T, I had a chat with you about possibly coming down maybe a couple of months ago) and perhaps one or two of you might remember/recognise me too.

Happy to come down and not expecting a game on my first night, but if anyone is free and fancies a crack at a pretty new general (played 5 games with the new rules - things have changed a lot since 6th!) then I'm happy to play against any list.
If its a possibility, points wise I love 3k games, but as a new player I'm not up to speedy play yet, so perhaps something a little smaller to get my feet wet with timed games.

Anyway, this is me - I also have a few other armies and a ridiculous collection of space marines that realistically might not get any love in the near future so may be able to discuss a few trades (meaning I could flesh out my WoC and HE with some of the new toys)

Looking forward to a few welcomes and perhaps an offer of a game to spur me on in my weekend off hobby binge..

Yo Owen, yeah I remember you mate, if you are wanting a fantasy game on Monday, you are in luck, around 5 or 6 of us will be bringing our fantasy armies, I would happily give you a 2k game if you wish, or you can jump into the big game were having?

I wouldn't mind a 1v1 game to cement my learning of the rules. Although happy to jump into a big game to level things up if needed.
Ill bring a bunch of stuff and a few quartermaster lists and we can decide on the day as that might be easier.
Now to sort, prepare, fix and pack my stuff - playing at home has its advantages!

Building up thin layers is making these flat panels look half decent. Yay.

I might be able to give you a game. Last night I dug out my Dark Elves which haven't been used for months. I should be able to throw upto 3000pts together assuming I can get my corsairs ranked up and some models repaired.

Yep definitely want more than a few games of Deadzone.

Just a quick confirmation that I'll have 3000pts of Dark Elves with me on Monday. I do have 1000 and 2000 point list written too. Oh and in case I can't get a fantasy game I'll have my Black Templars. No idea how many points I've got I'll work that out on Monday if needs be.

Open day yesterday was awesome got to Have a good Chat with Jake about whats in development for the full Deadzone rules and gave him some feedback. Dreadball Tournament was huge with about 30 players and My Mega KoW batte was Huge and Great fun

Not really possible to play KoW with my Dark Elves, unfortunately there's a few strange numbers of models, like 9 or 38 in there so I can squeeze characters into regiments.

Give me a few weeks to dig the spare models I know I've got somewhere out and I might be able to give you a game.

It really dnt matter Nick. As long as there on a movement tray exact numbers is not really an issue.
