Would anyone be interested in getting together one evening or weekend and doing a video battle report? 40k or fantasy.

I'm Hoping to start gaming again (if you'll have me back) and was wondering if much has changed since I was last there? i.e same room same place etc. I also want to celebrate this momentous occasion by starting a new army, I'm thinking word bearers so would anyone be up for some small games as the host grows?

It'll be good to have you back Stuart. Yep it's same time and place although due to the bank holiday it's next Tuesday rather than Monday.

I've got next Tuesday off, so I'm able to make it.

I probably wont get a game in the fantasy league but I'll still bring my tomb kings, so Tony if you want a game with your dwarves I'll have 1500 points. If I can I'll also bring 40k.

Hi guys, it's a bank holiday next Monday so as per usual everything moves to Tuesday.

Also it's the 1500 point fantasy painting judging next week.

Yikes I've been neglecting this thread anyway I've got an update on the escalation league and a reminder for everyone.

Firstly the escalation league update, I've not produced one of these in a while as everything has been a bit confused owing to various catch up games that needed to be played but here are the current standings now that the 2000pt stage is over and everyone has caught up.

Jamie: 48
Leigh: 48
James: 46
Moe: 36
Nick: 35
Greg: 27

Nice and tight at the top of the table, should keep things interesting for the final set of games.

Now for the reminder, it's a bank holiday on the 25th August so barring anything unusual we'll be moving to the following Tuesday (26th).

Anyway, if anyone does read this, I've been looking at Bolt Action as several people have been talking about getting in to it and maybe doing it as our next escalation league.

I'm really liking what I see and you can count me in. Has anyone decided what country they're going for?

I like the look of the Soviets or Polish, maybe even Japan.

Considered trying Bolt Action, I'll go Brits if I do.

Me and jonny already have our lovely bolt action forces, and al has one too, sorted

Hi, you'll have better luck posting on the club's Facebook page since this thread doesn't get used that much.

Also, the Norfolk Wargamers group on Facebook would be useful for you.

Hi, thanks for your interest in the club. Unfortunately 40k is pretty much dead at our club these days (seems to be mostly a mix of WHFB, Bolt Action, Star Trek Attack Wing and the occasional board game now) because a lot of us didn't take kindly to 7th ed. You might want to try some of the other clubs listed in this thread or at Athena Games.
