Yes GumyBear, we're all perfectly aware Necrons exist, we just don't care.
There's only one army with Gauss weapons, so there's no need to be scared of fielding mechanized armies just because Necrons alone have a fancy trick with their weapons that lets them wreck a transport at range. Losing your transports is a fact of life in mechanized armies, and once they've achieved their purpose by getting your troops where they need to be it doesn't matter.
Space Marine mech is by no means dead, although to be perfectly honest I don't think Razorbacks are competitive anymore, especially in Space Wolves where you can easily rely on Predators, Long Fangs,Grey hunter meltaguns and Wolf Guard
CM's for
AT. Rhino's got better this edition in terms of mobility as you can be 30'' across the board by turn 2 if you move 12'' and flat out them, giving you great control over the board so you dictate the flow of the game. Sure, 'Crons can blow up your Rhino's, but then you can hit back with a fusillade of fire, stall their warrior blocks with assaults or blocking them, hold onto the center and rear of the board with additional units and capture objectives. Necrons aren't unbeatable or that daunting at all if you play your cards right.
