Hoard-o-bitz having a decent sale before pulling stock from both ebay and thier website to change over shipping prices to new ones that will be posted the 23rd!

!! Attention !!
All stock removed January 23rd. New Shipping
We just reviewed new postal changes going into effect next week. Amoung other things international shipping is going up double and tripple. Currently our smallest cheapest international package costs us to ship $2.76. The same package next week will cost us $8.28 to ship.

Smaller price increase to domestic, but other changes are expected that we still do not have all the details on.

In short, we will loose money on all our items the way we currently sell them. Massive changes need to be made. Neither our site nor eBay have a simple way to make these changes.

As of January 23rd we will pull down all inventory from our website and eBay. We will immediately begin a full inventory count and adding items back to both platforms with the rediculous new shipping profiles.

We expect it will be mid Febuary before all of our current stock returns for sale. Please make all purchases over the next few days to take advantage of the current shipping profile or if you need the items we currently offer as it may be a month before they are available once again.

Technically I dont think they're having a sale, just a "get them before we have to increase the price" announcement

Edit: Ahh nvm, their items do say on the bottom "Stock ending sale jan 23rd", though some of their items dont look too much on sale compared to their normal pricing

Their shipping rates on eBay are already terrible by comparison to most of their competitors.

What competitors, out of curiosity (as I like to know the options available ). Like Spikey Bits, I guess?

I've always had good experiences with Hoard o' Bits, although they haven't always been the cheapest, as you say.

My sentiments too, adding that HoB does have more than WH and WH40K.

I use Blackdagger Games pretty constantly. They tend to be cheaper than HoB, have better shipping, and break bits up more how I'm looking for them.

I've used HoB about a dozen times, from the website and from ebay. Always fast and super cheap.

I had bad experience with them before. Ordered some bits and they shipped them in a regular white envelope. Needless to say the machines at the post office ripped the package open and all I got was a torn package with no bits. Contacted them and got replacement bits after about two weeks, sent the same way.

Placed a another order this time much larger hoping for better results, and they were shipped better, but missing parts. When I tried to contact them they had me blocked through eBay. Never got the missing pieces. I understand there's scammers out there, but to block someone from any contact is .

And people ask me why i ship everything in flat rate boxes. Before i started my bits biz i bought from them and my bits would just get destroyed. Their selection is large but like spikey bitz their is almost nothing there because they don't sink their ebay to their webstore.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

I've not had problems with HoB but I only bid on their auctions as their BiN are really highly priced for bits - even outpacing TheWarStore at times.

Blackdagger is my bits source, and always the first seller that I check for any bits order. HoB was my seller of choice, but their shipping rates are astronomical by comparison to Blackdagger.
