Um did you mean opaque? if so that is really a tricky one, i would start with a light grey, n then from the center of each facing blend out to white, edging with the brightest white you got on the very edges. n dot forget to add impurities all over i guess

Not certain exactly but try this. Get an even coat of white, then get a bottle of Vallejo's pale grey wash(73202) and paint on undiluted. The wash should give enough of a shade to make it look crystally(is that even a word?) Then re-highlight the edges with white.

^Crystalline would be the adjectival form.

Even "opaque" white crystals aren't usually "white" due to the various other mineral deposits nearby or within.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

A nice easy way of achieving that look would be something like this:

A nice pale blue, with the edges leading into a pure white, with reflections.

I am currently taking commissions.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
See the reason i need to know how to paint this is because im making a Dark Angels hero and he has the Relic Monster Slayer of Caliban a blade that was around before the Horus Heresy so i said wouldn't it be cool is the Blade was made from the Tooth of a Claibainite Lion and in order to do that it needs to look like an opaque white crystal.
