This is going to be my sergeant for my army, I wanted him to stand out from the rest of the guys so I gave him the legs from the Command Squad.
Although, I hate the standard items that comes for the sergeant, with the gun pointing up in the air and well yeah...

So I looked through my imperial guard bits and found this interesting helmet, I should also mention that I got a commander with the same legs, so he had to differ from him.
Then I came up with this, I have no idea why I picked the arm holding a helmet, but I think it fits quite well with the swinging motion of the whole model, now I got a problem...

I hate the imperial guard unhelmeted heads, sadly the sergeant head is growing on me, but I really wanted a helmeted sergeant! This is where the helmet in the hand kind of ruins it for me...
I was thinking in the lines of stories for the model, that he was holding the helmet of his fallen brother or something in those lines, but that would be a problem without a diorama/body next to him.

I looked through ebay and I couldn't find a decent head for him, so what do you guys think of the idea with the helmet from a fallen brother?

Heres the picture of the model, with the head from a Jungel Trooper and the Cadian Sergeant, hope you like them!

Personaly I would go the helmet idea, because then I can get the helmet on the sergeant, it would be nice to know if anyone else has any ideas for this, heads that could fit or a stories for the helmet.

Thanks for poping by, I notice it was quite a lot of text, hehe : -)

First head from cadian sprue (The cadian sergeant head) Works way better for what you want, I'd say it looks quite nice. That jungle man head in the bandanna is imho the worst head they have ever made. He has a really defined bum chin and its very ugly.

What has been seen can not be unseen... Thanks for pointing out the bum chin, I do agree that one was my least favorite. I'd just hope there was a better cadian head for what I wanted.

I think that head's great, you just have to use it right:

Yeah, it's super silly, but that's Catachans for you!

I do agree the Cadian sergeant head works better on this particular model, but what do you mean your "army's" sergeant? Unless your army is one squad of dudes, you're going to need a bunch of them.

@ Brother SRM: Ah right, typed too fast. It is one of my sergeants, I just haven't got around to my other one yet, lacking ideas for it really.
