Woot!! The books that I missed are available, as are the striders (I wanted 7, so $10 each is a better deal than 2 for $20 for me!!), and I'm very happy. Sad Howlett isn't one of the character add ons...I may see if they'll let me add him anyway, as I need an alt costume Logan to lead my models.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Wait... Are you asking if we're going to get what we've been told we were going to get in Wave 3 in Wave 3?'
Yes, we will. If you have any pending plastic Enforcers, Forge Fathers, etc they're part of the Wave 3 shipment.

Hmmm the Forgefather boosters is $20 (£12.50) but is £9.99 ($16.50) retail before online doscounts they are off the list so. There's a few bits like the starters that are more expensive than retail price. I'll stick to the hard plastics so.

I haver been properly keeping up with updates so figured I would ask people who have,
And considering we didn't get them in wave 1 when we were told we would or in wave 2 when we were told we would I am not sure your seeming disbelief in my asking is warranted.

Sorry, but it's been communicated pretty well, including on the invoice we got on Wave 2. If you hadn't heard by now, sorry if I came across harsh.

Yeah, Mantic had them in tooling for hard plastic and has kept delaying them to make sure they are good - hence the reason we got the "holdover" PVC enforcers in wave 1.
After their gakky Men At Arms from the KoWKS, the decision to "delay until they are good" has been overwhelmingly met with approval by the DZ KS backers.
They even showed the plastic Forge Guard sprue and how there was still a problem with it which is why that was also delayed to Wave 3, versus shipping it to backers with sinkholes in the shoulder armor.

Ohh I am not complaining about that, I would much rather a good product late that a poor product now. Just pointing out that saying you will get it then is not always an indication that things won't change,

hard plastic sprue of 6
Automatically Appended Next Post: Put my survey in, 10 sprues of enforcers should be enough for a Starter Warpath force, to go with the other 4 from the starters and bundle deal. Plus 7 sprues of peacekeepers from exchanging my mars attacks pledge.

I was tempted to round it up to 10 sprues of peacekeepers but that can wait a while, oh theres 6 striders for it as well plus the medics, engineers, snipers and captains. Think I've still got about 40 resin enforcers lyings around from the army deal, if I can be bothered with cleaning the restic.
But its not that big a force until I start looking at vehicles come the warpath ks and maybe some corporation allies.

I shouldn't bust your chops too much: the only thing you're beating me on is the Peacekeepers. I only have 20 coming in. Then again, I have 7 captains...

Seven captains is a bit mad! I guess you got seven starter sets?

Bought two metal ones way back. Got two starter sets in the KS, picked up another person's pledge a few months ago (had 2 captains), plus specialist pack. Yeah...lots of captains.

I still haven't actually looked my second wave box as it got send to my mothers as I was moving around a lot,.
It's cool mate. I probably took it that way because I'm having a bad day today where as normally I would have just ignored it.

Well. Got my stuff slightly sorted. Missing stuff. But that seems to be the 'norm' right now. At least it's not two months late. Pretty minor stuff mostly so far.
Thoughts/missing items:
Spoiler:
Got 16 zombie sprues, but should have had 18. Two places on the pick list so I understand the miss.
Forge father faction deck may be missing, need to double check.
Does resin bend with hot water or anything? Never used it, my rebs commander's gun is just slightly, maybe 15%, bent.
There are five colors in my enforcer pathfinder bike baggie, kind of amusing
Special weapon metal enforcer seems solid, two guns and another enforcer for whatever it cost, maybe 5 bucks?
Dead figures are cool. Three have a not-showing flat side, but the enforcer could just about be used, kinda looks like he's climbing a ladder or hugging a wall for cover.
The connector sprue bundle was only 5 sprues? For some reason I've been daydreaming about getting 10. 2 dollars a sprue isn't bad... I guess I was just planning on having more, may have to order another set to be sure to have enough.
The strider is a really chunky bag of parts for ten bucks.
I'll have to get out the fine-tooth comb, so far it only looks like I'm missing a couple of sprues of zombies and a forge father faction deck (kind of important but it's not like I'm gonna get to play before the replacement arrives).
My Books were separated by a portion of a packing envelope, the big hardback compendium took a ding on the top right but I've bought D&D books at stores in the same or worse condition (after checking for other copies first, of course).

That's roughly equivalent to a single battlezone. It's either the same number of sprues or a couple less I believe. If it's the same thing on the Mantic webstore it's got the 8 core world sprues (4 of one, 2 each of two other sprues) plus the two accessory sprues, and one sprue of connectors. Mantic webstore seems to have a free accessory sprue till some date in october.
Sounds like they're giving you the 2 BZ +accessory bundles on the survey. So It's kind of hard to directly compare.
But I guess for me it would be a difference of $50 for two battle zones and 2 sprues of accessories, or $64 for two battle zones and I guess 4 sprues of accessories. I'd say the KS bundle edges out slightly better for sure, especially if you don't need *yet more* accessory sprues (where I am). You can also order the new sprue not yet available at retail. Miniature Market is usually pretty cheap on shipping, or free over $100, but the free shipping on your survey 3 shouldn't go without note.
Accessory sprues are still a reasonably good deal, 3 for 8 isn't quite the 4 for 10 you'd have gotten ordering them earlier, but it's still solid.

On the subject of connector sprues and accessories mentioned earlier.
I ordered the 2 ruin battlezones originally, so I'm guessing all their accessory sprues came in the original order.
As an addition, I ordered 2 extra core world battlezones, no accessory sprues in there.
Each battlezone bag had 1 set of connectors inside it. The Scenery Expansion Sprue bundle had 0. There were no connectors mentioned on the bag, however.
I do see that there IS a connectors sprue mentioned on the reopened survey. - Also, 2 Free accessory sprues in each battlezone bundle.

@Compel, you always got the free accessory sprue (the double of the current sprues) when you ordered 2 battle zones previously in the kickstarter, so that's the same deal we've been getting (which is cool).
Did the survey have the accessory sprue bundle on it? I may need another and it was certainly cheaper there than at retail.

Yep I got 5 sprues in my connector bundle. Yeah resin bends in hot water, at least chinese resin does, the only stuff I have experience with ; p Shame they missed some of your zombies, but at least you weren't grimdorked again ; p Same condition on the book for me, not perfect but acceptable, a little pushing/squeezing improved it. I got a FF Faction deck with my FF starter. Yeah the strider was great value hey, tempted to get more on this survey.
Pretty sure I saw accessory sprues in the survey but not sure if it was a bundle.

Yeah the accessory sprues are there in the 3 for $8 fashion, not quite as good as the 2 frames for $5 during the project, but still pretty solid. Connector bundle is there too.
Kind of tempted by hard plastic enforcers for survey 3... Tactical marines cost $40 for 10, or I could get 20 enforcers. I mean it's not exactly a no-brainer, but I do like the way enforcers look.
Peacekeepers are an even better deal than that being so huge, and the forge fathers are pretty tempting for SIX for $10...
Stupid Mantic and their stupid Surveys...

I've bent TONS of Darklands stuff with the hairdryer. I don't bother with the water much any more, other than to quickly cool things off after blasting them with the hairdryer. You'll be fine with it.
Since I'm most likely going to stick to small skirmishes, I think I'm good on figures for the time being. I'll probably grab 2 or 3 more battlezones and a stuntbot to compliment my Marauders.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
I'm liking this stuntbot so far. I know there were complaints about the detail of the cockpit but it's really pretty solid. I've seen some done better by GW but there are lots of wires behind him and a few buttons in front of the goblin. I'm definitely glad I got one, especially at the fancy price of $20.
Now I just wonder if I could talk Mantic into letting me get some of the resin upgrade parts for the forge father iron ancestors by themselves, I've already got 3 of the restic/metal kits but more arms would be neat.

Question for you all with the hardcover- how is the binding? Sewn? Glued? Can it lay flat?
Also- were we supposed to get the Forge Father faction cards this time around, or will those ship with the starter? I don't seem to have any with the current wave's cards (AI, mercs, peacekeepers, rebs, mechs...)
