I just want to confirm what I'm thinking. The codex says the RW attack squad can include an attack bike. I don't see anything that says the attack bike is its own unit. Am I misreading or are attack bikes bound to their squad this time around?

It is covered by the "Ravenwing Combat Squad" special rule you can find in the Ravenwing Attack Squad entry, the Attack Bike and/or Land Speeder are purchased as though part of a single unit, but are each their own separate unit in every other regard.

This, kinda like an IG platoon (yes I know some things are different too).

Does the Attack Bike out on its own count as a troops choice and thus "scoring" when Sammael or Azreal lead the army? I dont think the land speeder would as its a vehicle.

Correct on both accounts.

While the Land Speeder cannot score it is a Troops selection still, this is worth noting as it means its not worth a victory point in the Scouring mission if destroyed, but also that they don't become scoring vehicles in that mission.

As they are separate units, are reserve rolls made individually for the attack bike and land speeder and are they counted separately for the 50% reserve rule?

Correct on both. They're separate units for pretty much *everything* except FOC selection.
