Sorry I have so many questions but I am new to the hobby and in the middle of building my first army and since I don't have a local store that plays the game, I am looking to Dakka for most of my answers.
1st) What size are the magnets that come in the Open Fire box set? I'd like to get some more for all of the tanks I just got in a trade.
2nd) Where can I find assembly guides for British Rifle Companies? I gained 3 rifle companies in the trade as well, but most of it was unassembled and without an assembly guide and I would like them to be accurately put together.
3rd) I have ordered a large amount of items from The Warstore, and was wondering how long I could expect delivery to take?
4th) I ordered some PSC stuff, Is the quality comparable to BF. I love the prices but I want the models to be of good quality as well.
5th) I can't build terrain to save my life and I've looked fairly extensively online at pre-built terrain and the prices are somewhat higher than I want to pay per building etc. Where are good places I can buy cheap, quality terrain in bulk?
6th) I need some barrels for a couple of Sherman's and a couple Cromwells, where could I get those?
Again I apologize for having so many posts, but I need some guidance in the early stages of my FoW career!
Thanks for all of the help you've already gien and the help to come!
-Stuart

1st) I can't remember
2)nod usually the bf website has guides on it
3) never used the war store
4) Psc is pretty good, some thinner stuff like gun barrels can break, but by and large my shermans work well
5) I bought buildings from (Kerr and king) they are reasonably priced unpainted - as for rivers I used terrain warehouse - woods and hedges I made myself and a cut up 'welcome Matt' makes great fields
6) if you get the firefly Psc box it'll have spare barrels

1) Not quite sure, kinda curious myself haha
2) Do you mean what goes on what base? Because all the mini's were assembled when I got it. If so, usually the list you are building shows on the outline what goes on what base (Brits mostly use 5 man teams in 10 man squads. One base has a MG on it and 4 riflemen, the other has 4 riflemen and the NCO. Command bases are usually shown.) Otherwise, BF's website does a good job of it (they even made an article about it one time I believe)
3) The Warstore is really really good. I live in Philadelphia, and it only took about 2 days to get to me. Customer service is awesome, so don't expect any issues. And if there are any, they are solved nice and fast (Neal accidentally only shipped me one box of PSC T-34's when I ordered 2, but that's because they only had 1 box in stock. Instead, he gave me another comparable priced object to keep. Then, he shipped me the second PSC box. Good man, Neal is)
4) PSC is great stuff. The detail is much much crisper than on BF's stuff in my opinion, assembly can be a pain though (really, only fiddly part is putting the tracks together) if you have stubby fat fingers like me haha. Scale is near identical to BF as well, or any differences are only slight. I have had issues with thin parts breaking when I cut them off the sprue, however
5) Not quite sure where to buy, but if you look on Ebay I found a lot of very cheap pre-painted, pre-built HO scale model train buildings and woods. HO scale is closest to 15mm, and it looks just fine
6) Hmm, for Shermans I know the PSC Firefly/M4A4 kit has plenty, not quite sure with Cromwells.

I've seen those, good videos. Are Irish Guard painted any different than normal Brit infantry? What about artillery?

Im not quite sure how they are painted, but I know the uniforms weren't identical to Brit uniforms. It was common for Commonwealth nations to have slight variations, like I know for a fact Canadian uniform was slightly more green than brown. Although, after some research, it appears the Irish Guard uniform looks close enough to the Brit uniform that you could paint them the same. There are a few differences, like a green "Irish Guards" scroll and a shamrock, but in 15mm that won't show up as much. If you want to do those details, go ahead.
Your best bet is to just go out and do research. Look at historical images, and read books. You can find a lot of information out there. Just wade past all the crap about Prince Harry, I searched "World War 2 Irish Guards Uniform" and the first 3 pages are nothing but the Prince because apparently he is in an Irish Guards unit.

The Irish Guards were British, not commonwealth, infantry as they were recruited mainly from Northern Ireland. The Republic of Ireland isn't in the commonwealth anyway
British guns were painted in the same dark(ish) green that British tanks were.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Northern Ireland is part of the commonwealth, being part of the UK.

You may want to re-read my post
Unless you mean that they are technically commonwealth but the convention is to call something from the UK British and everything else commonwealth/teir own nationality.
