Obviously those who have traveled into the Eye of Terror or the Chaos Warp in general weren't wearing a hawaiian motif button down shirt and didn't bring their fanny pack and disposable camera... but if someone was prepared (or ill-prepared) enough to bring something like that, what would the pictures show?
The Daemons Codex has a few nice pictorials, but I want to see MORE! More blood and horror from the realm of Khorne! More twisting, ever changing fury of Tzeentch. The vastness of beauty and despair from the realm of Slaanesh! The verdant bloom of death and regeneration of Nurgle's plane!
Post your pics if you can sketch any out, find them across the internet, have a friend make them for you, etc. Please no tentacle porn for Slaanesh, its old and redundant.

The warps appearances are inconsistent and constantly changing. So a fixed pic really isn't very accurate.

yes, what you would need is some kind of constantly shifting canvas that can reflect the image of the warp by converting emotional energy into light, thus allowing you to witness the horrors within from the comfort of your own home...
Or a warp portal.

Yes, I understand that the warp is ever changing, but I am saying if someone took a picture, what would that picture look like? Synesthesia inducing pics are obvious, but I am looking for an Ansel Adams photo of the warp, so if you know anyone who can draw a still frame of an instant in the warp, that would be appreciated.

They'll be tricky to get a hold of, but if you can, get hold of the Realms of Chaos books. Kind of a precursor to Codexes and Army Books, these were two books that covered rules for Chaos for both WHFB and 40k. The illustrations are really... well... let's just say, "inspired". There's a lot of twisted, perverted, creepy and just downright WEIRD artwork in them.
Here's an example - I'm not sure if this is technically allowed, but it's already in the gallery, sooooo...

Like the great storm of the Horus Heresy, the forces of the True Gods will descend upon the Emperor's minions. The stars will tremble at their passage and the mighty armadas of the Warmaster Abaddon will bring annihilation to a hundred worlds. Know this, for these things will come to pass. |

Thank you for the advice! I appreciate your help, and I will look for the Realms of Chaos Books around my area and online.
If anyone else has anymore pics, post them up!
