Cool, needed that greatcoat dude for my other game by Andy Chambers.

The Valkyries are pretty nifty-neat-o.

I have had such a long-term lusting for the 15mm Rebel Minis stuff! Such an uber-cheap way to collect a couple of wargaming armies, especially when vehicles run 10 dollars, and the same for a pack of 21 troops.

The Valkyries are pretty dang good-looking, too.

Ahhh so Rebel was the one who bought Micropanzers line.

I'm sure they'll do it good service

Does this mean the russian power armor is coming up next?

I have a bunch of their 15mm sci-fi and it's great. They sell platoon packs for some Star Army game that are a great place to start.

http://www.rebelminis.com/51starboxse.html

They're called boxed sets, but mine didn't come in a box. Which is fine, I'm not picky about packaging.

Rebel did you just buy their 28's or will you be selling their 15's too? I keep hearing Micropanzer has a lot of troubles so I'm wondering why he doesn't just make minis and have another company sell them....

Micropanzer specifically was selling their 28/32mm line so that they can focus on 15mm

I hate to be that guy, but what's the material on these? I'm assuming they're metal, right? Those Valkyries look great, but gah, if only they were plastic or resin.

They are metal. We have been playing around with some resin, but haven't found a resin we like yet.

I have had a long-running urge to get into 15mm wargaming, and I keep drooling over the 15mm section of the Rebel Minis' site.

I have totally seen the basis for a three-faction post-apocolyptic game with the Earth Force (resurgent military), Sahadeen (Lo-Tech raiders), and Shalur Mercenaries (A.I./ Post-human faction), using the original Rogue Trader rules with all the inch measurements just changed to centimeters to be "half-scale".

The price point for 15mm is crazy. The platoon deals on their site give you about 28 figures for 15 bucks!

I'm using Rebel Miniatures with "Fireteam Andromeda" rules. Working out great as the rules have a familiar feel from 40K and FoW but some other interesting features like activation through the use of command points. The rules aren't a Rebel Miniatures product* but the force lists in that set have everything I want to use my Rebel Miniatures.

I just recently was looking at some Eldar Jet Bikes thinking about expanding that collection. Then I realized for the same price I could buy a whole new force from Rebel Miniatures. Much better value for the money.

*It would be great if RM owned these rules but I think they partner with 5150 Star Army. Which is also a good game but at a lower level of engagement.

I have updated the blog with a few new updates. We are also going to get some suggestions for names on our new Mech/battlesuit that we aquired from Micropanzer.

Here is a Size shot with Micropanzer's 15mm SAS(which are awesome as well-you can get those from him)

Oh, the blog is here: http://rebelminis.blogspot.com/

The owner of Fireteam Andromeda started this thread, witha link to his blog which then has a link to the Wargames Vault page to buy the PDF:

Those Shalur androids from Rebel minis are totally calling me to buy some of their Sci-fi stuff. I have looked and drooled at Rebel's stuff for such a long time now, just trying to convince myself to take the plunge into 15mm, as they make the price point so good for such neat looking and well-detailed figures.

I'm finally thinking of taking the plunge by fleshing out the Android infantry into a full force to fight the Earth Force Marines models by giving them hover-tanks made without conversion from these Directorate ships from Firestorm Armada:

Along with the "Thor" heavy and "Janus" scout mechs from the Post-Human Republic from Dropzone Commander as their walkers and heavy troops, respectively. (the Thor is about the size of a 28mm Space marine or Rebel Minis mech, and the Janus are compared to 15mm infantry about like 40K Terminators are to Space marines):

Those look amazing.

Stanos Infantry Support Suits? (but then people would abbreviate them to sissies)
Tactical Operations Ground Harness - TOuGH suit

Kind of a stretch, but militaries have done worse to meet an acronym.

A Spring sale at Rebel Minis! We only have two sales a year, so we make them big! From April 19th till April 30th, all of our products are on sale for 20% off our retail price!

As we learned last year, some things will sell out of stock quickly… so this year, we will be taking orders and making the packs as quickly as possible to keep them in stock during sale. Some items may be back-ordered during the sale, but if you order them during the sale, you will still get the sale price no matter when they ship (which should not be that long of a delay).

Please use Coupon Code: Rebspring

You can see everything at www.Rebelminis.com!

As Always, Thank You for Your Support from the Rebel Crew!
