Nice report!
I especially like the editing since it cuts down the dead air and pauses that naturally happen in a tabletop game. Nice and informative with the green overlay of VPs and turn.
Cool looking table too with the rusted truck and stone arch and stuff. Lots of detail for a 2x2 table.
I've read about MERCS but never seen it played, so that was interesting. Seems like there was a lot of Overwatch, is that standard or just a result of the mission and terrain?

Beauty Tobin. I say the video over on the other forum. Awesome work.

In short, Overwatch is standard to the rules of MERCS. However, while not directly related to terrain per se, terrain still plays a major role in the though process when declaring an Overwatch action. Arguably, more terrain may limit the effect of Overwatch, whilst less terrain, and therefore clearer lines of sight, may enhance its usefulness. Although this assumption is open to debate.

Unless you play USCR, in which case you hug the table-edge for dear life . Or Texico (I'm flustered to know why everyone hates Texico).

Glad you both enjoyed it! Muricles you nailed Overwatch on the head. Board setup is HUGE in the game and can really determine how useful advanced combat maneuvers (like overwatch) are. That being said a good use of movement can usually overcome those odds too.

I'm trying to think of more items that can limit LOS without appearing weird on the board. Any thoughts?

Other MERCS? The Texico Gunner and ISS Leader come to mind, with their Brick House PA and Combat Shield respectively.

In fact, I often use my Texico gunner in tandem with the Texico demolition for the soul purpose of providing full cover to the demo and negating any LOS on the demo.

Also, the Texico demo's smoke grenades (can you tell I really like using the demo?).
