3 objective game. One of the greatest and closest battles that I have ever played. Crazy Green Tide going against my worst nightmare, Imperial Guard. I really hope you guys enjoy this game because I sure as hell did.

Thanks a ton man! Yah he did awesome. It's always fun playing against imperial guard because it soooo freaking tough. Playing the green tide is so freaking fun and this game was just a blast. Glad you enjoyed it man!

Wow. I just realized that I didn't fly my dakka jet off the table on turn 6. I completely forgot about that model. It would have come back in on turn 7 and shot at the heavy weapons squad...insta killing them with their str 6... 9 twin linked shots at ap4...I would have only needed 3 to go through to win the game... Face Palm.

Was not an easy thing to do haha, the trick was to get the KFF's and remove his cover saves. This was one of those cases where the rules really hurt the orcs. Most of my blasts would hit the back of his units and since he had to remove from the front his KFF's kept getting closer and closer and his charge distance kept getting longer and longer.

I am curious, though, how are you getting those angles on the Dakkajets coming in from reserve? It seems like there would be no way to get the facing they're getting coming in from your board edge.

It's from my deployment so any edge along the side up to 2 feet. I flew 36 inches at an angle starting 2 feet up the board from the one edge. I always thought that was how you could bring a flier on, as long as its entering on your deployment.

It enters into play just like any other model from reserve. It would need outflank to come on from the side edge. So, you can have it facing any way you want, then it must move forward from your table edge.

Have you considered fielding a small unit if Nobz Bikers lead by a Warboss? Mobility will help you in these kind of match ups against gun line armies.

I have a ton of nob bikers that I could field, but they really don't fit the list. They would get focused in so hard and probably go down pretty quick. Also, their a ton of points and I need to keep the tide strong!

Imperial Guard is really the only army that gives me a boat load of trouble. I'm not saying I can beat every other army out there, but they don't give me nearly as much trouble as guard does...

I'm really glad I did play against the guard though just so I could see how the list would do. I wasn't really that disappointed considering guards my worst enemy.

It's a shame reserves can't assault once they arrive. Otherwise, Snikrot would be perfect popping in and messing with Heavy Weapon teams or Leman Russ.

I haven't had too many issues with my Nobz Bikers. They are extremely durable and take a lot of beating. The only time I've had issues is when I face a huge squad of Flamers of Tzeetch or double enfeeble + Str6 shooting spam. At they very least, they will draw fire, giving your Boyz a couple turns reprieve.

Do you think they would do a little better then the aegis line with the big gunz? That's the only thing I think I would be willing to drop for the tourney.

I just started building my own Green Tide army, so I'm pretty new to it. I think the Big Gunz are low cost and good fire support. It could be useful in Big Guns never Tier mission. I plan to run a couple squads of Lootas for anti-air and a small cheap scoring grot unit, so Aegis Defense Line seems logical for my list.

Your other list with the double Battle Wagons may have fair better in this game against the IG. It still requires high chance to penetrate and explode Battle Wagon's front hull with Lascannons, though ordnance Leman Russ may have a better chance.
