So I'm casually enjoying my folk metal when I stumble upon someone saying "Hail Cruachan from Macedonia!" or something similar. So of course someone had to attack him for calling himself Macedonian with several expletives. This then escalated mighty quickly to the Greek attacker calling the other guy "fether", for example. Then, someone tells him to calm the hell down so he says this:

"That's cute, that slowed 187nevreme, called his pussy-brother to protect him because he's too gay to do it on his own.... Look you fething n----- bastard, you're a fething ape, you don't know even how to write... So, when you learn how to, come here and chat with me, you stupid slowed piece of gak with an I.Q lower than 20... Go kill yourself fething monkeydonian!!"

Very friendly, isn't it?

So I chip in. I'll let this picture demonstrate (expletives whited out):


This brings up several points:
1. Are all people from Greece like this?
2. Do people think that metalheads are like this?
3. Are we seeing the rise of the nationalist keyboard warrior who believes that death with a mouse in his hand will send him to Valhalla?

Have you guys had any fun experiences with such people on forums, blogs, Youtube etc?

It's the internet and even worse its Face Book. I find it best to assume that such dark corners attract the dumbest in society

But yeah, I think some aspects of Greek culture still has some beef with Macedonia in the modern age. 2500 years and counting

Also, we're on a forum. This kind of stuff happens all the time.. Just with slightly nicer language on the part of the participants
