Cephalyx look similar to Cryx but cleaner lines. Imho. I hope this is a new Horde faction to even up the numbers a bit.

As much as I said Convergence would drag me kicking and screaming back to Warmachine, I'm glad I held off as now I get to get dragged back to Hordes with models I prefer. I'm interested to see what their playstyle will be. Now the question is whether or not to get Cryx to go with them, or a nice Hordes rival. I'm hoping for a lot of Circle, Skorne and Minion rivalry.

The concept and sneak peeks looks awesome. My Dark Eldar could use another Talos, or perhaps some Grotesques at last. :-D

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I can do you a limited release plus rivalry with other factions super deal.

Instead of having their own Warbeasts PP release a couple of Cephalyx upgrade kits that allow you to turn any other factions war beasts into your own mind slaves!

That would be wicked !
But I think it would need some rules to represent the fact the warbeasts are now mind slave (including some kind of blood creation-like rule not to attack the caster), and special tuning to prevent too broken combo, so both for rules and models reasons, it would be restricted only to some specific warbeasts from each faction rather than all of them !

The warbeasts could lose their faction animus and be replaced by a Ceph version. Say have 3 heavy add ons, which add 0-3 points to the model, with a different animus for each of the three, and basically you just slap that on the enemy model's price. So a Feral with the 3 point heavy add on would lose baying of chaos and gain say Sprint, but otherwise retain its stats and cost 12. Might only be a good deal on certain combos, but you could make some cool ones.

Either that, or just a handful of heavy systems that are defined critters, just add whatever base plastic kit is relevant. Cephawolf, Cephelant, Trophalax, whatever.

The foundry looks better than the art. I am impressed.

Interesting, but I prefer the art.

I don't know that I like the visible coils on the side of the head,
but I guess that's a design choice to make it clear that it isn't
really a head.

I like the coils, but not the head! If that's a separate bit I would personally leave it off, and maybe put some other icon in it's place.

I really don't know what I was expecting in the foundry... It is a very aesthetically confusing model.

I didn't even realize there was a head on top of it until you guys pointed it out. That thing is giving me an Iron Lich Overseer vibe (which in turn reminded me of tripticon or whatever that one floaty head Transformer thing is called).

I'm afraid I can only resist these bizarre Cyriss designs for so long.

I've been wanting some eradicators and that hammertime warcaster for a while as it is. With those new floating heavy vectors and this oddball contraption, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to hold out.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I was hoping for something much like the artwork, which is eerily beautiful. Just need some alternative hands to have one cradling a downed clockwork soldier.

Quintessons. Trypticon is a ginourmous city-sized T-rex.

Because Cyrissism is a religion, and these are the priests that protect (and repair) the flock as it were.

THIS guy is really cool.

I can see using this figure in quite a few other games, as well. Judge Dredd, being one of them. Pulp City, being another.

Not going to lie, the more I see the mechs, the more I really wish I would have stayed true Warmahordes and left those other games alone.

Relly good looking sculpts there PP, really good.
