Looks very cool! Is templecon a pretty big gaming con? I've seen mentions of a PP presence there in news and rumors from some sort of a preview seminar and DP9's heavy gear forums mention having one as well.

Great pics and scenery. Looks great !

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

Matt, is that you in the smartgunner rig? What did you use for a smartgun, is that a Matsucorp smartgun or one of the airsoft conversion kits for an MG42?

Its actually a old golden armor one. With real motorcycle parts. I have matt building one of his masterpiece ones. When i get that one IM going to sell my current one. The smart gunner gear is one of my most prized possessions . As you can tell IM a huge aliens fan!

Yeah, I've got a set of Spatcave armor, screen-accurate BDU's, pulse rifle w/ LED, Matsucorp shoulder lamp...
what do you think you'd sell the golden armor smartgun for?

I loved your smart gunner costume!

If you're thinking about templecon, do it. Had a blast playing WM/H all weekend. And finally took the dive and bought into Infinity.

Really a great place. Though I noticed a larger divide between the Steampunk portion of the Con from the gaming portion this year...

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

I'm confused by this... Everything was located in the same place as last year, the ballroom atrium was just filled more this year.

I didn't realize you we're on dakka. I was Battleroad Games we were talking about basic training together.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

I wasn't so much refering to the convention space as to the divirgent 'crowds'. Perhaps I'm just noticing it for the first time.
