Does the black mace work for vector striking with a daemon prince. If so this would give it 2+ to wound and the ability to activate the toughness test within 3". The special effects of the weapon would also cause ID. I looked in the book and though it mentions at the models base strength which leads me to believe it probably does not work. Couldnt find anything on it in the faq either. Anyone know of something I might be missing here to help conclude this argument?

Hmm, it would appear the only restriction is on Strength and AP. I do not see anything preventing it, however, I would play it similar to Hammer of Wrath which does specify no wargear bonuses.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Cursed only works if the Black Mace wounds, since vector strike doesn't use the Black Mace profile it doesn't use its special rules either.

True, however, Nid close combat weapons would definitely apply as they are not weapons per se.

As per FAQ

Q: When a model makes a Vector Strike or Hammer of Wrath, do
these attacks benefit from any special rules (such as Furious Charge,
Poisoned or Rending), or any weapons or other wargear it is
equipped with? (p37/43)
A: No.

Checked the FAQ, didn't look hard enough apparently.

That is good to hear. Thanks! Would be a little OP if it did.
