Very simple question, me and a friend are going to be playing 2 vs 2, he plays Black Templar, I play space marine, and I want to take a psyker.

Now here's the tricky part, the wording definatly say that he cannot take psykers, but can I play beside him with psyckers?

There are no rules covering 2x2 games, so it's really up to you and the other players.

However, the BT rules don't just say that the BT army can't take psykers, but that they can't ally with any force that includes models with psychic powers... so in the spirit of that rule, no, your army should not have any psykers in it.

Does the fact that I'm playing a Crimson Fist army, and not some other random chapter give me browny points in them tolerating my psykers? or it makes no difference

As silly as it may seem, there are no exceptions listed in the Bt codex. Even their parent Chapter would be unable to field psykers.

Well, there is one exception, but it is only for Grey Knights Space Marines.

I'm reading up on thw warhammer wiki, there saying that when dealing with other chapter, many templar will prepare them self by fasting an holding week long vigil.

So from what I'm reading it roughly seems to go along the line of:

Accepts Grey Knight Psykers
Tolerates other space marine librarian
Understands navigators and Astropath are necessary.
Everything else dies

Understands navigators and Astropath are necessary, and only extremely grudgingly. If there was another way they would adopt it in a heartbeat.
Everything else dies

Fixed that for you.

It depends on the rules of your 2v2 game to be honest. A lot of 2v2 games in Tournaments here in the UK (at least the ones I've been involved in at Warhammer World in Nottingham) have absolutely no restriction on who can play alongside who because they're classed as 2 completely different forces simply operating alongside each other on the battlefield to achieve a common goal, rather than actually being allies. The last Tournament I played in saw Chaos and Grey Knights play together against Nids and Orks. Think of it as 2 armies agreeing not to shoot one another until the other 2 armies are defeated, with neither force able to convey any benefits to the other via special rules or pschic powers and such like. You could even forge a narrative to explain why the unlikely partnership had come to pass if you like. I always find it makes for a much more interesting game, myself.

If on the other hand you are indeed bound by the strict rules of BRB allies vs those of the BT codex, then you may not ally with any army that fields a psyker unless it's from the Grey Knights codex. At all. Period. Considering the amount of armies that take psykers to buff their forces in 6th, you might be best off finding a GK ally!

No but they do not tolerate them. There's a grey space between "Not tolerating" and "murdering on sight." For example, they will not cooperate with them, and they will not be a part of any council or group that includes them. It literally says in the codex that Space Marine Librarians may not be taken as Allies. The Black Templars would simply not participate in the agreement and would walk out of negotiations the minute a SM psyker walked up.

"He leaves, I leave, or he dies."

Sums up their attitude towards other chapter psykers. Which is 2 more options than any non SM would get.

In Deathwatch they... 'tolerate' them (I.e. they don't murder them on sight when forced to work with), but that's a single Templar instead of an entire force. Even then it's supposed to be a huge thing for the group dynamic.

IIRC Deathwatch also states that the Templars spend their "free time" meditating in their cell to calm themselves so they don't go bananas over being close to a psyker.

Unless they gain too many insanity points at which point they lose all control and kill any psychers they see on sight.

I wouldn't have a problem with you using a psyker, I've played in a 2v2 tournament where my GK were allied with CSM, it wasn't about having fluffy armies, it was about having fun and being a little silly.

You think that's crazy? Eldar with CSM vs Eldar with Tyranids (including the Doom).

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
