Just wondering if there'd be any possibility black library will be expanding the story about the blood ravens with a new series of books or would games-workshop be just leaving it to THQ to expand it with their Dawn of War games?

I don't Think there will be anymore DoW, I think THQ was disbanded.

THQ didn't make DoW - Relic did.
And Relic was bought by SEGA, together with rights to make CoH and DoW games.
So yes, DoW 3 will be released in given time ( you just don't shut down game that was sold in over 7 million copies ).

Most likely that the Blood Ravens mystery will be continued with DoW games, they tried it with novels and it didn't go well.
