Is it possible to place more than one blast on a single target?

I can't see where it says you can't! But all the picture examples have the blasts spread out touching other models. I'm aware of the decrease in Dg caused but would like clarification in placing!

You can place a blasts as many times as you want on a base but will only take one amount of damage as per page 46 of the mini rulebook:
"Any model, other than the initial target, touched by one or more blast suffers one severity lower than what was inflicted on the initial target"

Just so I have this right in my head,

A Crooked Man casts Cave In on one of my models, Dg= 2/2BB/4BBB.

He hits and causes Severe Dg.

He places all 3 blasts touching my model.

My model suffers 4 Dg from the first blast but no more from the 2nd or 3rd.

Any other model hit would take 2 Dg but no more (regardless of how many blasts are tounching).

Have I got that right?

Yes, you're correct. You can only ever take damage from 1 blast. The initial target takes the damage from the attack, the first blast must be touching the base of the model, but you can drop the other ones anywhere you want, as long as they're touching the other blasts.

Lol, that would definitely suck... though even with 4 blasts on McMourning would only have 10 wounds put on him, and you could always try wound prevention on a thing like that.

He'd lost a few already (I tend not to worry too much about taking a few hits with him as he can replenish them rather quickly in his turn. . . if he gets one! ) but when I took that hit I think the shear shock just made me completely forget about prevention!

I did go on to draw the match though so not a complete loss!

Yeah, I just played my first game with McMourning on Friday, and the seamus crew I was facing couldn't deal with the Flesh Construct and McMourning... It's an interesting crew, I don't like that I can't summon other undead besides Flesh Constructs or puppies, but that's okay because they're good solid models.

McM is def my favourite Master at the mo.

For a bit of variation you can also summon a Guild Autopsy for 3 body parts or a Rouge Necromany for 8. The rules on their cards.

But personaly I cant really see the use of the Guild Autopsy but I'll get some at some point just for options.

The Rouge Necromany is on the list as at some point I'll be trying a Molly led crew!

I got a Rogue Necromancy 2 weeks ago thanks to killing a Steamborg Executioner. Charged in 3 dogs, killed the executioner only to lose, the dogs to an Electrical Creation (darn ), took those 4 pretty corpse counters and summoned the rogue

It's always nice to see the look on your opponents face when you turn a pile of bones into yet more meat for the slaughter!

I need to get one pretty soonish along with a 2nd flesh contruct. Those guys never do me wrong. On of my proudist moment with a FC was when I summoned him into a bunch of gremlins who then spent 4 models activations to take him out only to be horrified when I popped him straight back up the following turn!

Yeah, I bought McMourning and Molly's Boxes because a local flgs was getting out of the Malifaux game, so their boxes are marked down. Got Molly's box for 23 bucks... I couldn't give a crap about the Crooligans, but I picked up a second Flesh Construct, my first time using the Flesh Construct was against a Rasputina List. Had killed off most of my Punk Zombies and Dogs, I managed to take out a 2 Silent ones and a Slate Ridge Mauler. The final turn had a Flesh Construct and 8 Mindless Zombies surrounding Tina... hehe It should be noted that the game before he slaughtered me with his Dreamer crew lol.
