I have seen a TON of amazingly painted minis in the Gallery, so I thought I would post this announcement here as well.

DreamForge-Games is a small company located in California, we produce plastic miniatures for the tabletop gaming industry.

I started DreamForge-Games about twelve years ago with an eye to do something I enjoy and break my ties to the corporate grind. It has been a slow and sometimes tumultuous process but I have always approached this career choice with a passion. It is important to me to find individuals that share the same passion for what they do. In my humble opinion, you must enjoy what you are doing or the end result will not be equal to your potential.

As we step out into the gaming community with a larger number of products and begin to fully develop Iron Core the game, it becomes essential to form new relationships and contacts with other talented individuals.

With this in mind, I wanted to reach out to those who may be interested in working with me on a wide variety of subjects and disciplines.

Sigh, wish I wasnt so useless at life. I would have jumped at this in a heartbeat!

Good luck to you though! I'm sure Dakka has plenty of hungry and talented people to fill in those positions!

I do not have the budget for full timers yet, so I am trying to search out freelancers and build a list of go-to artists for projects.

As the relationships build and if full time work becomes available I will likely be using the contacts developed through my working relationships to fill those positions.

Gosh, I got nothing on Mark (he was actually my inspiration many moons ago when dreamforge first got started), I'm more into rules really, im too much of a perfectionist and (for the time being) lack the proper equipment to do my 3D thing in a reasonable amount of time (soon to change) or to a sufficient quality standard... although maybe its because I mostly make it up as I go rather than going through the steps of conceptualizing, designing and revising.

I'm a freelancer and I intend to stay that way for the foreseeable future. I might drop you a line to see if you have some illustration jobs.

@Mark, are you still wanting to have the community have a little say in the fluff for the factions? I am no master writer by any means but it would still be nice to pass on a few suggestions to whoever is writing.

Tempting... I've been working on a tweaked for sci-fi adaptation of Brushfire's ruleset (not but not the setting) on and off for awhile now.

I don't know if you've seen this gentleman's work, Mark, but it's pretty amazing. I highly suggest checking out his Dakka gallery, and retaining his services in some way if possible.

Oh, and I may have a few talents that could be of use - particularly editing. I'll have to drop you a line

I think my most immediate pressing need is very high quality painted figures.

The nature of doing a KS release, directly followed by supply chain sales has left me with less than desirable images for the retailers when displaying the product images.... This is something I would like to remedy sooner rather than later.

If you are a mini painter that can do this quality or better, I would love to hear from you.

Unfortunately http://dwartist.blogspot.com/ has no time in his schedule. He painted up the old metal mini in the pic.

Cheers!
Mark

This intrigues me.

I ill be sending you some samples of my writings.

As a point of intrest are you going for more of a grim dark or somthing more upbeat.

I also have some experiance in game design. Nothing published but my local group enjoys my scribles.
