Lists NOTE that special abilities were taken as part of a local gaming area League rules

Daemons:
Bloodthirster of Khorne

5 Blood Crushers of Khorne

Rules taken: Preferred Enemy: Everything!

Necrons:
Overlord with Warscythe, and Mindshackle Scarabs
5 Death Marks
6 Wraiths with Whip Coils (ALL)

Rules taken: Preferred Enemy: Everything!
5 pts Wraiths as Troops


Game: Purge the Alien, Dawn of War set up, Necrons went first

Set up:
Daemons: had to start in reserve but all would come in turn 1
Deathmarks "marked" the Bloodcrushers

Necrons: 5 Deathmarks set up in our deployment inside a Ruin. the 6 Wraiths hid behind a nearby building so the Death Marks could Rapid Fire before the Wraiths assaulted. the Overlord joined them but was in front of the building due to the fact he does not have Wraith-flight.

Turn 1:

Daemons:

Movement: steal the Initiative and DS in front of the Overlord.
Assault: they run 2" torwards the Overlord.


Necrons:

Movement: the Overlord and Wraiths move to counter the Daemons and move within 3" of them.
Shooting: Deathmarks rapid fire into the Bloodcrushers killing 1 and reducing another to 1 wound.
Assault: the Wraiths and OL assault each recieveing 4 attacks a piece.

Assault results: on the charge the Wraiths and OL inflict 12 wounds but Daemons save 9 of them thus killing another and reducing 2 to 1 wound.
Daemons then inflict 4 wounds and the Wraiths save 3 of them reducing a Wraith to 1 wound

Line Breaker-> Daemons

Turn 2: GOES TO ASSAULT RESULTS

Assault results: Wraiths inflict 8 wounds Daemons save 6 of them spreading 1 wound to the Bloodthirster and 1 to a Bloodcrusher (Now all 3 Bloodcrushers have 1 wound)
Daemons score 11 wounds Wraiths save only 6 of them. (Now all Wraiths have 1 wound)

Turn 3:

Daemon: nothing

Necron:
Movement: Deathmarks move toward the assault attempting to join. they fail to make it.

Assault results: Wraiths inflict 9 wounds, Daemons save 6 of them the 3 wounds go to the remaining bloodcrushers. (ALL BLOODCRUSHERS NOW DEAD)
Bloodthrister inflicts 4 wounds Wraiths save 2 of them, and 2 Wraiths are destroyed.

First Blood -> Necrons

Turn 4:GOES TO ASSAULT RESULTS

Assault results: Wraiths inflict 5 wounds, Bloodthirster saves 2!!(BLOODTHRISTER KILLED)

Slay the Warlord-> Necrons


VICTORY: NECRONS

after thoughts: we both agreed that if it were not for the Wraiths 3+ Invul save Daemons would have wiped necrons,

Remember, Linebreaker isnt awarded until the game is over.

Can you really spread out the wounds like that? I mean don't you roll on one model until slain? Have only played one 6ed game so far but though atleats you couldn't spead wounds like that anymore.

thats correct would have been quite different if it was played correctly

Both lists are legal according to the Leauge rules that were set down its 1 of everything for Force Org and you can pay to upgrade non-Troops to troops but only one unit can this be applied to as for spreading of wounds I have no idea he was doing that so I figured I could to

The lists are illeagle and I did now really stay with it because it needed to be more interesting.

not that he ended up needing it, but if the Necron player had dropped three Whipcoils from the Wraiths, he could have added a Despair-tek to that Deathmark squad and REALLY mopped up.

No. Still illeagle cause he said the special abbilities were from the local league rules not all the rules.
