Hello all,

I was thinking about getting back into the game after a 6 year hiatus, and I was thinking about using a City Defense theme for my Tau list, so I thought I would ask about this. Since I think it would be a blast to have semi-indestructible vehicles shooting at my enemies.

I assume they can't but I was hopeful enough to post...since I hate Skyrays and I don't want to field them due to theme.

If you are reffering to the sentry drone turrets, their entry doesnt say they can then they can't, and it doesnt look like it does. Keep in mind that the forge world vehicles update made them artillery instead of vehicle, so they are far from semi-indestructible, str 7 with 2 wounds is not to hard to hurt.

Keep in mind that forge world stuff is not allowed in a lot of tournaments, so if you plan on going to one you will need to check with the TO first.

OK to bad about the seeker missiles, but regarding their artillery status their seem to be two entirely different stat lines for them one for the Tau Update for 6th edition, and then this one that claims they are artillery?

Is the Tau specific one current? I can't find it listed on the updates page of the forgewrold site anymore, I know the vehicle update is fairly new, July 20, 2012, so if the Tau one is older it would be overwritten by the new one.

The only one I could find doesn't have hull points listed on any of the vehicles which would date it pre-6th edition. Does the version you have have hull points listed on vehicles?

No, it doesn't have hull points mentioned but it has Skyfire noted as a rule under other units which implies to me that it is 6th edition?
