I don't think I'll be able to switch over the server for a few days yet (need time to prepare). So it will still be DW20 for now, so start packing up your stuff into your ender chests etc. REMEMBER to take off and pack your armor

CompactSolars is gone, if anyone used that?

I might switch over the server at some point this weekend. I'll give a more exact date/time as and when I can.

EDIT: Heh these announcements at the tops of pages 12 and 13 of this thread are rather conveniently placed for easier future reference, so that's lucky.

I think we used compact solars quite a bit, we had like 10 lv arrays last I checked, any way to get those disassembled?

What if we don't have enderchests? I only care about saving my potato gun, the rest I don't mind either way.

I certainly did use Compact Solars. Can we trade them for a newer equivalent? Ultimate Solars, or just the component parts of the arrays.

Are compact solars gone-gone? Or just assimilated into IC2 instead of being a side-mod?

If you want to keep any items (even if it's just one) make an enderchest for it (like I said on page 12). Make sure to make it private to you using a diamond on the lock so your items don't get mixed up with someone else's.

I'm going to be focusing my time on getting the new server up and ready, but I might pop on when I can to trade some solars, as Compact Solars is "gone-gone".

I don't have the diamond nor the stuff for it.

Yep. I'm giving you guys notice so you can gather the resources needed. Alternatively you can take Avatar's approach and help each other out.

Another tip. If Avatar were to break one of his ender chests, and hand the chest and diamond to you, you then place it, attach the diamond, put your portal gun inside then break the chest and hand the chest and diamond back to Avatar...

I was testing out the new mods on ultimate. Heres what i like thus far.
DISPLAYABLE ARMORS AND WEAPONS!
Biblio Craft = thaumcrafters dream!

And it looks fantastic with the armor on display

Quartz can now be made into weapons as well

Dark to the new server could you add the plugin/mod that allows damage indicators to work server side properly

you do know the server rules? asking for mods is a no no.

It's a plugin for the mod which is client side only, so it works better.
Also, if anyone needs ender chests, I can make some and loan you some diamonds

In what way?

they can be stored inside of a ender chest and there less expensive. so you could have 30 times more stuff in a ender chest and 1/10 of the cost

or you could do what dark suggested

Also, just a note to anyone also kinda Newbish like me- the Ender Chests Mod requires a different recipe than VAnilla- the Vanilla one will make an Ender chest, but it won't work. At all. You can't even place it.

I wasted stuff on that.

Is it disabled? I did not know this.

Then would it be possible to stick an ender chest at spawn? Simply bring your own diamond to use, then break and replace the chest when done?

I'll place one at spawn, as well as a a chest with a diamond

Hopefully I'll be able to get on before the reset...

ok, in the magic room at spawn there is an ender chest, and a diamond in a chest next to it to make it personal (you will need your own dyes though)
