I'm definitely going on an expedition to that jungle biome Dark indicated. You'd be welcome to any spare tropical bees I get through breeding?

I solved the mystery of the lightning, turns out I had a valient/excited crossbreed that creates lightning but couldn't start dying unless some redstone was placed near it. I've also managed to breed out my princesses in the imperial line leaving me with nothing but drones... derp.

Okay! I have recolonised. There's an island in the north thats MINE. small, but will probably end up expanding.

EDIT. it would appear that I have a neighbor....

No, sorry. Everything's set for them to work, but they just don't. :/ I'll troubleshoot it some more at some point but I can't say when.

Is there currently any way of picking a random item from a chest inventory and have it ejected or put into a pipe?

It's probably theoretically possible with a randomiser and either filters or retrievers, but it would be difficult to implement.

Block breaker on the chest and obsidian pipes? Then something to only accept the first one and send the rest back into a new chest?

And replace the initial chest?

Could probably rig something up to accept only chests, keeping the rest of the items in a loop until the chest gets placed again.

Apparently autarchic gates are getting a new " single energy pulse" function, so withdrawing a single random item should get a lot easier in the near future.

I can easily provide enough ender chests for everyone, consider the diamond you use to make it private as a downpayment.
