This White-White-White chest combo thing. I used that on the old server to save all my stuff but I made it private, however i also had a second chest in there which was white-white-white non private, could this be the culprit? To my knowledge there is nothing in there though.

white white white public has some ores and such in it and appears to be used by mata's quarry/sorting center

How anyone can support that and be against the original IC2 recipes is beyond me. But I haven't viewed the video yet, so I'll take a look with an open mind.

Not really considering that it takes alot of materials to make a good pick. Lets for example examine the diamond pick that only requires 3 diamonds and two sticks.
In this. It requires 3 iron for 1 pick. All you are missing are the sticks. 3 obsidan = 1 pick etc. The harder the material, the more costlier it is. Like the new ore thats blue (Forgot its name) that costs 3, when you only get 1 per ore which is harder than any other material.

The only problem i see is with nether quartz which increases damage, which means i could do the following, 2 levels of nether quartz and 1 auto repair. Which makes the blade probably do 20-30 hearts of damage. Which means it is an instant killer.

These are not as OP as the Divine RPG mod, where the swords go up from 10 hearts to 195 hearts of damage.

It's a cool mod, especially when you consider the future cross-mod applications of it (thaumcraft shards as upgrades?), but I'm not convinced...

And why is "molten obsidian" a thing in FTB? Surely that's just lava?

My HUGE issue with ftb is you can't pump 3/4ths of these liquids out of pipes
I wanted to have my manufactorum sitting on an island of filth and sewage, but NOOOOoOO the only new actual liquid is red water which is unaquirable.

Cheap pickaxes are not why I want this mod, ive got a repairing thallium pic that's enchanted a ton, the reason I want it is because it adds tons of various objects and weapons, and I'm happy to use IC2 now that gregtech is in this mod.

You'll need fire resistance armour to survive up there. Boots of the Traveller also help (ie you spend less time on the surface). When your health hits half way dig down three blocks, then forward two so as to keep out of the "sun", as it'll stop you burning.

chickens have to be the easiest thing in minecraft to farm. Seriously, if you have to beg for chickens then you must be really bad at this whole minecraft lark.
I wouldn't mind everyone giving me all of their diamonds either. I don't see that happening.

okay wool farm has white blue, light blue, red, pink black grey and light grey wool and is running
Downside is it turns out deployers wear on the tools inside so now I need to make an autocraft+deploy system shears that will keep this thing running

Working on my Dye farm as well.

If you want a wool farm that works without iron, you could look into auto-filling Feeders and just make iJevin-style Cow Machines for each color of sheep- kill them for single blocks of wool once they've grown.
