Are we talking Emeralds as in the ones that can only be made into tools (along with rubies and saphires) or the ones that are traded to villagers? (Or are they the same now?)

I've finally picked an island for my base, so I'll see how quickly I can develop and get some Iridium production going.

The tool ones are now called "Green Sapphire" which actually makes more sense- now they're all just variant colors of corundum, which is second only to diamond in hardness- while Emeralds, which are actually quite a bit softer, are used as currency.

Hey guys, I am looking for someone to help me build a blast furnace...I will pay 2 diamond for the creation of a blast furnace in my area. However, I will also prohibit Dark Apostle from doing this, for various reasons.

Edit: NVM, got the materials from corpse, for an IOU.

I'd honestly like the community to actually start being a little more.....supporting of each other.

I wasn't on, but generally I'm all-in on trading materials for having someone make some of the more annoying components of my machines for me with mine (like timers and such) when I need them

I find timers are so annoying to craft that I just make a computer instead and type in the few lines of code to do the exact same thing for less materials.

right now I'm trying to stupid-proof my factory as I just realized I had about 100 stacks of cobble jamming around between two barrels I probably need some guidance like you did at spawn to turn off engines when power isn't needed

If you really want to help out I suppose there's some things I could get you to do.

There should be about a dozen or so squid surrounding my island, I need help with naming them and recording it in a book putting in specific details to catagorise each one depending on apparent mannerisms, perhaps perceived differences in appearance and general traits they seem to favour about their habitat.

Or you could help me get some villagers on that island and lock them away in my house for safety as I build them their own shelter. The same book thing applies to them as well. I'm heading towards a library of sorts on the island's history, but I've been lazy in formatting the book I've got so far on it.
Two to four of them should be sufficient to start off the population there. Once that's done I'll be able to officially call it it's own country I suppose and I guess you can have a title as well as an added reward.

Squid, unfortunately, have no souls. So no Squid Spawners. It stinks, right?

Water is a squid spawner. Even the smallest of pools can spawn an army of squid worthy of Mordor.

Look up the word block in NEI and you'll see a ruby and sapphire version very similar to the vanilla emarald block. I'm wondering if you'll able to get it, and maybe dark inner could co us a favour and allow use to convert redpower sapphire blocks into these cooler looking versions.
