I think we should have a community "Uber-breeder" look it up on dire wolf 20s channel. We could have it in spawn for people who need to farm bees fast, I could provide the electron tubes (for mutaters and special blocks), wax and few other bits and bobs if needed. Anyone wanna help?

I have one, it doesn't work as well as he made out.

Yeah because someone found this to be extreme exploit. So they down graded it completely.

He did it in his most recent singleplayer lets play that should be using the same version as our server... I think he just lucked out.

Hey corpses, you had a tonne of iron right? Can you deliver some of it to Iustis' house for the upgrading of our power armor suits?

anyone use turtles? I just need to figure out how to get mine to select a new slot once the current slot is empty

Iustis was able to use turtles back on the Tekkit server ,better than anyone else I knew anyway.

Don't think DarkApostle's saying to completely drop tech- he's running around in Power Armour himself- but if you ever decide to do Accords things, it's preferred that you use or at least try the Magic way of doing stuff. For example- sorting systems- Golem sorting systems can be pretty awesome, especially when you get Advanced Golems.

Or ask one of the Lords for help if you're setting up a Thaumcraft area for yourself- elsewise just stop by the Tower and use the public facilities there- the basic Thaumcraft Workshops on the first floor are just about done.

Actually, Dark Apostle sold his tech to me, so I'm the guy running around in the ridiculously bright power armor (I'm thinking of dying it blue or white).

Speaking of mods- you know what would be a neat mod to have in FtB? Better than Wolves. I know the guy who made it was all 'blargh, grouch, no modpacks', but it's physical drive systems and low-tech machinery was awesome.

turtle.getItemCount
and
turtle.select

e.g.
if turtle.getItemCount(1) < 1 then turtle.select(2) end

Cool, so are people saying that a community alveary is a definite no no, I think if we kit it out with soul frames, chocolate frames and tge mutaters of course, it could work quite effectively. Also it's a nice community goal to benefit beginners, it's a win-win

Well it could be equipped to be quote a good resource tool. Put in some diamond bees, lapis bees and it could produce a hefty sum, combine that with a public time of alkhahest to get a very effective resource generater for spawn

Darkinnit, the next time that we're both on at the same time could you teleport me to some innocuous location? I logged off whilst trapped in my teleporters, again, and feel that asking for Corpses' help yet again would be insulting him a little. =/

Though I have learned to never use crystal portals (bar other people's ones it seems) again. The amount of hassle they cause is far beyond what it would be to just retrieve the animals that I was transporting on foot.

What exactly happened, did you have linking books linked to the place of your portals? If it's something I can help you with id gladly do it.

I've had enough help from other players I think. I caused my current situation via my own carelessness. Currently the issue is the same one I posted on the previous page, but this time with the fun element of falling x amount of blocks before I teleport. The issue is that the server teleports me before I have control of my character (ie on the loading screen) due to a bit of lag on my part (or just natural loading times). Thus I can't place blocks beneath me to stop myself from hitting the other portal (they just disappear) as the server thinks that by the time I've coming out of one portal on my screen, I've already hit the other one. At least that's my interpretation of the situation.

If there was a second lapse before a crystal teleported you, or you had to reenter the portal for it to work, I'd be fine, but I'm assuming this is an uncommon issue.

Meh, I'll take a break from FtB for a bit I guess. =P
