Okay, I have all of our stuff in an ME system at the portal at spawn, checking with Iustis before I move the stuff to the new server to see if I missed anything. Please no one steal anything from that. Besides, there's plenty of people that give things away out of the kindness of their heart anyway, just gotta ask

Also- you've just completely negated the entire point of the thousand-block tunnel I've spent the past couple days digging, and necessitated that I build a new staircase- by putting a portal right where I was wanting to go. I sincerely hatethank you.

I was also curious to test out how multiple Deep Dark portals work.

Weeeeeelll I'm finally back full-time. Will be applying myself to tinkers workshop and IC2 for a bit. Just an incredible area I've found. Huge caches of resources. However. I know I haven't claimed my area purposefully, but I have settled the Eastern Decidious forest. (on the edge of the map). Slowly terraforming my area to a workable place, including farms. However, I'm looking for a few things. IC2 rubber trees (at least 2 saplings). I'm also looking for a good recipe for a tinkers hammer and a tinkers pick.

I've only got MFR rubber tree saplings which grow into rubber trees that need to be cut down (and replanted) to get the rubber unlike the IC2 variety. If you are interested i can leave a stack at spawn or your base if you are connected via portal or nexus.

And the game runs fine, once it starts up- it's just the launcher that's being slow. ( and I actually typed s.l.o.w. there, it wasn't autocorrected)

If you can launch Monster just fine and login just fine, and it's only the FTB Launcher you're having trouble with, I'd highly recommend you switch to using the MultiMC launcher (if you're not using it already, especially as you've previously mentioned throwing your own sets of mods together).

In the settings it has an option "Track FTB instances", which will show the FTB Modpacks you have installed in the MultiMC launcher and allow you to launch them. The MultiMC launcher doesn't try to contact the FTB servers to check for updates or new modpacks so if that's your sticking point, it should bypass the problem nicely. The downside is you still need to use the FTB Launcher to download any updates, but as they don't seem to be releasing any for a while, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The MultiMC launcher also makes it easy to put together your own sets of mods and switch between them, It's what the new vanilla launcher should have been.

IC2 rubber trees are best found in swampish biomes and there are also usually massive amounts of them in the Twilight Forest.

The Deep Dark is a lot more dangerous than I had initially anticipated. So, I'm now instead working on making some nice little farms, maybe attempt to build an Essence farm, to get myself better outfitted for the challenges ahead. I'm thinking a heavily Smite-ed hammer with knockback- enough Smite, and I should be able to one-shot skeletons. knockback for the creepers.

Or maybe ignore the knock back. That actually seems like a bad idea against skeletons these days. Hrm...

Minx, I've got 4 MFR rubber trees already making a home.... I never get sapling from them tho

That's weird; i've just cut down a MFR rubber tree and got four saplings and four raw rubber (that can be smelted to an IC2 equivalent rubber). Anyway, i've placed a chest with a few saplings at your base.

Make a Knockback sword for dealing with creepers, and a non-knockback hammer for anti-undead. Or just make a cleaver for both.

Whoever made this BigReactors reactor, move your gak or let it forever belong to me. I already claimed that section of the map.

Also I wish Chisel stuff showed on the map. Least it could do is show up as the base item.

It isn't centered to avoid overlap with the other two i have set up. It's temporary anyways- I'll put it somewhere more sensible once the other parts of the facility are complete.

Yeah. MultiMC isn't working for me. There's no option to auto-track FtB stuff. Plus, I can't figure out where I have FtB actually loading stuff from or to, now. I need to do a purge.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be aggressive, there's no need to apologize. I just happened to be fairly short on patience at the time of the post...

So thaumcraft research is crazy. Also, I seem to be missing some of the basic aspects somehow- I still can't complete the first piece of research I got, though others are easier to do.

I just really, really wish they showed you what the compound aspects were made from in the research table- would make it soo much simpler, rather than having to go back and forth from your thaumonomicon all the time.

What do I need to do to make a steam dynamo output its power storage in to a leadstone circuit?

Is the leadstone conduit system connected to anything? If you don't have a RF Storage device (or a machine that stores RF) there is pretty much no reason for your Dynamos to output RF into your conduits.
