Dark! I need a reset. I lagged out whilst mining lava, and moved forward with boots of haste. Weird glitching as well. I dunno what the hell happened, because I was off to the side of the block I mined, always made sure of it.

GMT +8 1:15pm or so.

If you do use lilypads, watering them greatly increases the growth speed of nearby crops.

I was still working on the grinder and was just afk for a few minutes. When i came back i saw your death message. I am sorry. Just tell me whatever you have lost and i try and rebuild it for you.

I noticed there's a lava pump from someone else nearly underneath your portal and next to my grinder. It's pumping lava out of the huge lava lake and might contribute to the overall lag you experienced. I will dismantle it and replace with something causing hopefully less lag.

Hey Docta, I rolled back your inventory, but made sure to remove your current inventory and put it in a chest first.

Friendly reminder to everyone. When asking for inventory rollbacks, make sure your current inventory is empty first.
It should also go without saying that playing near lava is rarely a good idea if you're experiencing major lag issues (whether it's server based or your own internet connection).

We've moved the pump and both grinders switch off every time you log on. I hope that reduces the lag you experienced.

If anybody would like, I am beginning to generate a surplus of Essence Seeds (My first lot goes to Absolutionis) and I have every tier of essence with a lot to spare. I could produce some Master Infusion Stones (you can convert every level of essence, not just between two) for people that would like them. They are pretty cheap, but I'd love to get some bees, copper, and tin in exchange if possible.

I do not need anymore essence seeds. I thank you for the agreement though. It seems that over a long period of time, you get enough essence to develop a surplus anyways.

Wait, pure essence? I'll take some of those. I have a couple piles of Tin Essence if you don't mind going through the trouble of smelting the ore yourself.

How are you getting more Essence Seeds, anyways? Are you doubling them somehow?

They have a (very small) chance of dropping 2 seeds upon breaking. My system has been chugging along for over a week now and I get some spares.

Also, use an MFR Harvester on Tall Grass for a small chance of getting Essence Seeds. An Openblocks sprinkler will grow more tall grass for you.

My reactor/block filler/10x3 rows of 64 Slate blocks all were gone when I logged on today...replaced by water, very weird.

Was on bedrock if that changes things?

What type of reactor?
What do you mean by block filler? The buildcraft filler? Was it running or set to clear an area?
When (time/date) did you last see them there?
Coords & dimension?
Plus any other details you think are relevant.

Some buildcraft blocks are susceptible to causing chunk resets. My quarry on my solo world (Lapito's Galacticraft Pack) caused one the other day, ruining the world for me :( Could be one of those?

No, this looks to me more like the filler was used with clear or flatten mode... on the reactor. Oops.

The water is just the water that used to be inside the reactor.

From what I can see, it's possible the reactor and filler were placed within the range of the blocks that were to be removed, and the filler happily did its job of removing them...

Sorry was at work and it lets me read, but not login to Dakka...weird

So I had the reactor (off) sitting on bedrock, 4 blocks away I had the Buildcraft filler next to the landmarks (leaving those 4 rows and the 7 for the reactor not inside the landmark lines), and then the filler was filled with 64 stacked blocks of slate and set to fill. But there was no power?

Idk, first time dealing with that machine so maybe I fudged it somehow. Oh well, I shall probably handfill the bottom now instead as it said the Filler only uses bricks and I wanted the black slate.

The filler should work to fill most normal blocks. Just don't try blocks like microblocks or machines etc.

I'll take a look at the backups to see if the filler was set in any strange configuration to destroy the reactor. I'll return resources if it was a server glitch. I might return partial stuff even if it was your own mistake - other people have quarried their quarry etc, you wouldn't be the first. :-)

Well the weird thing is, the blocks for the reactor were somehow in my ME Storage...? Just stranger and stranger lol. So I think the only thing I lost out on were the fuel rods and Filler itself.

No worries about it though, I have started handfilling in the hole for my base level and then soon I'll start making my glass and lava roof ;-)

Sounds like some sort of odd chunk reset problem, then.

If you want marble, I'm not using the stuff I mine for anything. I don't have much, but feel free to add it to your stockpiles. In return, I'll take any Onyx you have.

I'm kinda collecting Enderchests of dark rocks.

I still don't think it's a chunk reset - chunk resets revert chunks to their former state, not add new stuff (there was water, conduits and land marks in the hole).

I'm now edging on the side of "Did you leave your quarry hooked up and running?" i.e. did the reactor end up in your ME storage because the quarry mined it up...

Just loading up backups to take a look now....

Pretty sure the reactor was off since I was down there and didnt see a diamond tipped quarry of doom coming towards me lol. Don't worry about it though, I persevered and am going forward

My suspicions were correct - it was the quarry that mined up your stuff.

Although the reactor was turned off, that only stops it producing more power, the internal power storage still outputs to any connected machines.

I think the quarry resets after a server restart, so although it didn't immediately start to mine the stuff as you built it, it did mine it away after the server restarted.

Well it wasn't a chunk reset, that's for sure. There's no real evidence of that...

So I went a searchin for Anvildudes base, heard maybe in the deep dark...clicked something...and ended up here. Now I'm stuck. Says something about a location card? Had to log so I didn't starve to death. Any ideas?
