I have a 3k ish Ravenwing force for the Guardians of the Covenant (DA successors). I bought a few DV bikes, added WHFB corvus hammers, and converted some old PG into PT for the bikes. My old RW force then acquired 15 BK for only 4ish dollars a model. I then turned to Sammael. I had a pretty good approximation of Sammel on a bike, and my group has been good with that, but I felt it was time to get an SM jetbike out there. Since I'm running a successor chapter, I wanted my guy to look different, and I didn't want to spend the $40-$50 for a single model (come on, GW!).

So I took the extra parts from a single RW box I had bought to get decorative bits for my DV bikes I was converting into BK, and the extra rider that came in the box (never used the command squad champion), and combined that with a sentinel PC I had laying around and bought a $20 Gothic Jet Bike from Maxmini. Here are the results for anyone else looking to spend $20 for a unique HQ instead of $45 ish.









I'm thinking about trimming the front of the "bolters" as they look a little melta-ish.

What do you think about it guys?

Under the prow of the bike, right where it is on the GW model.

I like it. There is also a good jetbike from Kromlech, but this one captures the gothic nature of the original model. I think you have made a very cool model that is totally unique to your army!

The plasma cannon doesn't look like it can fire without blasting the front end of the prow, is that just because of the angle of the photos or could it do with being perhaps a smidge lower?

Other than that, awesome!!

Could you plate over the wheel at the back.....thats the only thing that I can see not quite looking right. Other than that it's boss.

Yeah, if you look at it head on it exactly clears it. But I did think about trimming up another one and leaving more room. I still might.

Oh, it's not a wheel, some sort antigrav disk. It does look like that in the pic though
