I picked up the Warzone Bag of 80 miniatures and decided to split them halfway to run as Adeptus Arbites gaolers and their Penal Legion charges. I plan on doing some VERY MINOR conversion work to the Bauhaus models, primarily shaving the helmet spike to kill some of the prussian look and removing the backpack (necessitating trimming the peg in the models back and smoothing over with miliput) to make them seem more patrolman then infantryman. I went with the green gloves for a more classic judge dredd look. Being as the casts are quite old and harken back to an earlier style I thought the red on the weapon was a fitting throwback to the old GW aesthetic. I'm working on perfecting my scratchmade purity seals to bring the models more in line with 40k style.

Comments, criticisms and advice welcome.

Continuing on with this idea, I've been working out a couple of different weapon options. Also, while it needs work I'm feeling positive about my first scratch built purity seal.

Did a bit more work to bring the models to a level I'd be comfortable putting on the table top. The last two pictures are included for scale reference. The scale is a bit off from modern 40k, but not to the point where it becomes a distraction.

The idea I'm going for is rank and file chasteners with bolt guns, veteran chasteners with storm bolters and cadets (In Judge Dredd style white helmets) with hot shot las. Obviously, they'd all be played as wearing carapace armor.

I'm also keeping an eye out for a good deal on these void junkers to use as crusaders. Because nothing says grim darkness like using a power sword for crowd control.
