On thursday I will be playing a game against my friend/rival in a game of 40k. It is 1000 points and I am using this list. Will post other list when I can but no pictures can be taken as this is in a school where we are not aloud to have expensive things with us.

Chaos Lord MoN plasma pistol and power sword

2x 6 Plague marines with plasma guns melta bombs and Gift of mutation in Havoc launcher Rhino

Predator with heavy bolter sponsons and Autocannon

12 Cultists with autogun but 3 and champ wich have shotgun pistol or flamer

Thousand sons

Defiler with power scourge

2 obliterators with MoN

I know for sure he will take a Monolith and Deathmarks Immortals lots of warriors and a cattacomb command barge. Also maybe a destroyer lord

What do you think of the list and how it will cope with the Necrons? I really want to kill that monolith.

Pred give it lascannon side sponsons there cheaper then regular SM ones so go for it..

Sorry to say but the thousand sons are not really needed when fighting Necrons all you need is AP4 weapons to give them no save.

Cultists as well, there not really needed in this list so take them out as your throwing points away

Now add a Maulerfiend to take out those pesky Monoliths...

...Or a Vindicator for those Tanks and troops

Force sword? I do not see many options you have given to your lord and you may want to give him a Sigil of Corruption for that good 4+ Inv, and maybe give him a daemon weapon, also any chance he is going to be in a squad? if not he will most likely be shot and killed first giving your opponent 3 VP if playing Purge the Ailen (1VP for Slay the Warlord+ 1VP for First Blood+ 1VP for a Killpoint).

Just go for this:

Typhus (if you dont have him, proxy him out to test) in plaguezombies

2 times 7 plaguemarines in rhinos with plasmaguns, gift

2 Oblits w/ MoN
Defiler with autocannon

I am not asking for help I am saying this is my list it will be up soon in the batrep on this thread. This does not belong on the army lists.
