Thanks for the replys.

And wow, that changes everything now knowing the max dice you can put in a trait is equal to the value next to it. This will make batman not die so easily like he has been in our games.

This brings up another question kingkris:

Wen Arkham Bane uses a Titan Dose, it increases all his trait values. His base attack is 6. Would it go to 7? Meaning he can now put 7 attack dice in that trait. And what about blocking him? You cant roll a 7 so is he unblockable when he is on Titan?

Lol. Yes Joker with 8 attack dice would be nasty

The question about Bane is one of the first ones I asked Gustavo

When on Titan all his stats increase by 1 including his willpower & attack. So yes he is attack 7! You always block on a 6 so his attacks can still be blocked. Also he is harder to hit as his defense increases to 4.

Hope this helps

You have been weighed, you have been measured & you have been found wanting.

Got more Kingkris

Batmans Total Vision with his Remote Controlled Batarangs. This is like the video games detective mode, where he can see through walls and see the skeletons of the bad guys as they move. It says I can not shoot though the terrain unless it has a Remote Control. Do I just measure the Batarangs though terrain to their target or do I have to measure around terrain to the target.

Close Combat Grab Attack. Do I have to just hit the target, or do I have to damage it to take effect? It says they are immobilized, Is this supposed to be Pin Down? Also, if a Clown moves and grabs Batman, and another clown comes into base contact, is batman -2 defense total? -1 For being grabbed and -1 for being outnumbered?

Breaking out of Grab. In its basic form, Batman ( from the example above) would need to spend 1 AC dice per guy grabbing him and make a roll on his activation and get a 3+ ( per guy) to break out of the grab?

Well it says a roll of 6 is always successful regardless

Thanks for the answers and the questions.

I'm getting ready to play this next week and after two reads through the rules, I'm still a little confused. This thread has helped quite a bit.

One more if you would - Why do weapons have "Tough"? i.e. Harley Quinn's Reinforced bat.

I've never been able to find this rule.

Can someone explain what happens when a character is knocked down/stunned and gets attacked by an enemy? How does that play?

Tough means Heavy in the rulebook. Heavy is it is 1 easier to wound. So if they are 5+ like Harley and she uses her bat, she wounds on 4+.

Knocked down or prone in the game is the "Felled" Effect in the book. Cant attack or defend, no special abilities, and enemies always hit you on 2+

It kinda died here because they made a FB page https://www.facebook.com/groups/379688692128828/ So most updated and such are all there along with answering rules.

Hey, I'm interested in this game. Where are folks buying the Minis (on this side of the pond). Are you buying them from the company itself. Are any of the internet stores carrying them?

Best place is Battleroad Games and Hobbies:

This is especially true if you get one of his memberships which gives you 25% off everything (I think!) and he'll special order for you too.

Additionally, once a year in November, you'll get 5% of your yearly total back to spend in his store too...

What do the different factions play like? From the thread I gather that Batman stalks from afar. How about Joker, Bane, and Penguin.

I saw the rulebook, but it did not have a list of who belongs to what gang.

The factions are all pretty loose to a degree as many of the bad guys are free agents or generic. So, the leaders and sidekicks is what will really make each faction different.

Has anyone done some alternative, normal card sized cards for this yet? The later size, coupled with the fact that my villains have the notes section on the back while my batman and catwoman have photos on the back, is driving me crazy.

I just played a demo game yesterday and find this game is quite interesting and start looking into the rules. Something I didn't understand is the "CLOSE COMBAT PUSH" the rule state if the damaged is achieved, the displaced effect will be added to the damage (see effects). But I was never able to find the displaced effect in the Special Traits. Dose anyone know how that works? Coz I think it will be fun to push someone off the ledge. Also does anyone know that the "tough" special rule for Baton is for what? Because in the special trait it is used to re-roll endurance test, but I think it is not related to the weapon.

I have a question.

Green Arrow has a special arrow that does something special, stunned. What does this mean? There seems to be no follow up for this mystical arrow.

Cheers

Meh. The quality is excellent, but the price is absurd, and the 30mm display bases don't help. I don't see why I should buy in when there are piles of Heroclix figures still out there, some from the movie. Plus I like Harley Quin in her BTAS outfit and not the Arkham video game version.

The clown thugs and posing of The Joker is very cool though.

Looking for the Empire spearmen from the Warhammer sixth edition box set (empire vs orcs) Must be unpainted and in good condition. Also looking for MIB Empire State Troops boxes.

Looking for Battle for Macragge and Black Reach Tactical squads, unpainted and unassembled.

Because you want to paint models that are significantly better than all of the heroclix garbage out there?

I don't know, how detailed does Batman need to be? He's Batman. The Hweroclix have a surprising amount of detail after you strip them in acetone.

I have a question about the psycho rule. Is it meaning to say action counters instead of will power? Otherwise it is the same ability as insensitive currently.
