This is a great idea, need to think up some fluff for my deserty soldiers and get some photos

The problem is due to a script issue in the page, will sort it shortly.

Is it okay if my army subverts the fluff ? (Rouge guard filled with xenos and led by a reincarnation of Patton that protect peaceful settlements and kill Inquisitors and Grey Knights on sight for the luls.)
Or do you just want the serious stuff that fits?

Your army your fluff, its not about being accurate its about creating a record of all the guard armies out there.

No you're right, I am working on a way to let you edit multiple regiments from one screen but I'm not having much luck at the min. I'll revert to the original for now if you want.

Some suggestions for additional data boxes courtesy of leinmann over on the B&C;

Homeworld/Operational Headquarters: is the regiment raised on an Imperial/Renegade/Neutral world? If not is it operating as part of a Crusading army and so made up of various regiments now united under one banner? (so basically just expand the box for homeworld...)

Origins & Recruitment: Why was the regiment raised? Was it part of a planetary tithe, or was it raised in direct response to an emerging threat (Ork WAAAGHs, Tyranid invasion, Black Crusade)? In addition, how does it replace casualties? Does it recruit from its central homeworld (Catachan, Cadian, Mordian etc) or does it absorb depleted regiments under its banner (Tanith 1st and Only, regiments taking part in protracted campaigns that operate far away from their homeworld)? In the recruitment phase, are there any rituals/stipulations that must be undertaken to prove one's self for service?

Beliefs: How does your regiment venerate the Immortal Emperor/Dark Gods (if Imperial or Traitor Guard)? Is it a literal or metaphorical interpretation? Do they even know why they carry out these actions? Chances are that preachers will spread the word of the Emperor, but the actual people of the planet may see him as the sun in the sky, whereas on Chaos aligned world young recruits may interpret the Chaos Gods as associated animals or totems.

Technological Background: What level of technology is your regiment used to? Are they technologically adept and have great ties to the Ad-Mech, or are they from a backwater world that revers the humble woodman's axe? How do they deal with travel through the Warp and space travel? Are your tanks powered by loud combustion engines that make your allies think the Orks are coming, or do they utilize stable flux-ion cores that burn for hours at minimal noise level?

Thanks for the suggestions Furyou, I imagine most people would put this information in to the Background section, though it might be worth considering.

It's a good thing, thanks. Working on the site at the moment to make it safer for people to have multiple regiments and also to allow for easier expansion to other races.

Something else you might want to consider is a single sign-on type function where one account can have multiple regiments, because currently my sign on is "Colonel Branwen ferch Aeron" or something (because that's my commander's name), and the only way I can remember my login details is autocomplete.

That is exactly what I am working on.

Can't help but think the guy that is doing one on B&C is just hijacking my idea. Some one said that your post is a close second but I started this on the 21st of Feb the other guy started almost 2 weeks later. Hmmm.

I had some issues with the database layout and some regiments were missing this is fixed now, but may mean people need to update. However the update function is currently down, lol.

Can anyone that has registered an army and wasn't asked to enter an email address and user name please contact me with their email, desired user name and the name of their regiment so that these details can be updated.
