A unit can be either a scoring unit or a denial unit to claim Linebreaker (Pages 122-123).
However, vehicles are neither unless it is the 'Big Guns Never Tire' or 'The Scouring' missions, which has an additional qualifier that Immobilized vehicles (i.e. Drop Pods) still do not count (Pages 128-129).

Indeed, they do not count for Linebreaker, no matter the mission. (Although they are a great way to GET the Linebreaker point.)

Note that while most people treat Mycetic Spores exactly the same as drop pods, as monstrous creatures they are denial units so they can contest objectives and grant linebreaker.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

Huh, never realized that. I knew they were never scoring, just kinda assumed that non-denial was added via FAQ. Well, c'est la vie.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
