However if you're going to make Daemon Angron, the only reason to have him with an axe and a sword would be if you're also running Kharne the Betrayer.

Personally I'd have Angron be Angron. Double Axes. Double complete axes all the way across the sky.

Thanks man, and yeah I'm well aware but one thing is cutting up a £140 model, but top leave out the coolest axe ever to have been produced for a mini would be heresy of the worst kind, and I couldn't bear that. Besides, there's an unaccounted for chainaxe that he supposedly "drops" in favour of the sword, but I take that as a metaphorical way of saying he has a new favourite weapon instead, and that Gorefather gets to reap skulls for eternity alongside his only true master. That's just much cooler

I'll probably end up doing a version of Khârn sometime, but as far as I know he is gifted with Gorechild before Angron's ascension to daemonhood

Thanks, it's not really an army, more like a warband as I'm building a quite big IF HH army

And that's a nice advice, but I'm lazy and don't always bother with the background for a few quick wip photos, finished models is something else entirely though. On most of my IF wip shots I used a background as well I'm no novice after all :p

Hey, dude, can you do me a favor and stop putting out such amazing models? You're making everyone else look bad.

That Angron from the An'ggrath model is too fantastic for words. Although, when I looked at it, the only thing that seemed out of place for me were the forehead horns. There's just something about them that doesn't quite sit right with me. I'd almost prefer to see a bundle of smaller cables coming from them, or just removing them and smoothing it over with Green Stuff. Regardless, though, it is a phenomenal model, and I can't wait to see that massive, Black Blade of his. Also, are those chainsaw fingers on that Dreadnought? Pure, killy awesome.

P.S. You need to do a tutorial for those hand brushes. Like, that needs to happen.

I'm afraid I'm not able to help you out on that one, have no plans of retiring anytime soon ;D

I'll probably not be doing a tutorial on the hand brush, can't reveal all my secrets to you guys But no seriously, I've thought a lot about it and I'll rather focus on my painting and converting/sculpting skills than re-visit the making of hand brushes atm. Maybe in the future

A little WIP of the contemptor, he's gonna be a dirty little traitor My reasoning for this is because I really don't think maintenance has first priority as much as chaining him down when he's not unleashed on some unlucky foe/former ally



Still some way to go yet, and then it's time to give the hand-brush a go

that gold is magnificent, and the blue on the shoulders is also beautiful. Can't wait to see the blood on this beast when you get to that point.

As a fan of conversions and dynamically posed models, allow me to say... damn!

He looks positively ferocious. The blood is really well done. Gotta love Tamiya Clear Red.
