The filmmakers had said they wanted Mandarin to be a composite of despots and terrorists, and so there is this:

I don't know. After you've assembled the Avengers, you'd think they'd have a bit of band of brothers thing going on, and would waste this guy like Frazzled would go through a chocolate cake.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

It looks like some bizarre men's fragrance advert.
I don't always be the Mandarin. But when I do I slouch in a chair wearing camopants.

I like it. Feels like a blend of chinese with african warlod and hill fighting terrorist. Still looking forward to it. I like Iron Man even if the first two have basically been him fighting himself....

Well Tony is an alcoholic... he probably knows the fight against himself and his urges is the biggest enemy he can face.

Everything has happened before, and will happen again.

I do like Ben Kingsley though. He was awesome in You Kill Me. Man google him and he's done like 27,000 movies.

I'm excited.

Sure, you kinda need a double take to figure out whats up with his mixed wardrobe. "Soooo, he's a chinese islamic terrorist freedom fighter?"

But its cool as all heck.

Are they not Tony's style of sunglasses?

Perhaps he's wearing them to mock Stark?

Thatis probably what they were going for with the shades.

He'd look much more menacing without them though.

Considering the let down that was Iron Man 2 color me unimpressed.

Of course I found the Avengers quite boring and I know I'm in the minority here so.

They certainly could be. The uncropped image shows a smattering of 'trohpies', including Ironman's helmet way at the bottom (and is that an Ultramarines helemt in the background?):

It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. Upon re-watching, Iron Man 2 was certainly an oddball. Yes, Tony was awesome, and the fighting scenes with the Hammer Drones were great, but so goddamn much with that movie didn't make any sense, that giving it half your attention ruined it entirely.

The Avengers was a great movie tho.

Agreed on both points, but I'm burnt out on super hero movies in general.

Has it been confirmed whether he'll actually have magic rings or are they going to feth him up?

I think I fell asleep during part of Avengers actually. Everything on the carrier was snoresville to me.

A) Mandarin has tech in the film. No magic rings.

B) War Machine is The Iron Patriot.

If that was referring to me, The Iron Patriot is what Norman Osborne called himself during Dark Reign(I may be getting the name of the period wrong though. It was post civil war though) when he wore a suit of Iron Man's Armour(Minus the Repulsors).
