In the warp, searching for Marbo

Trying to put together my first list for a 1000pt army. This one I made with no help, and I'd your opinion on it. My first/only list is a 500 TAC, and I'd like to keep from making a specialized army. I only plan on taking part in casual games. Is this a TAC list, if not please advise me on how to better it.

Useless squad. A single grenade launcher is worthless, give them 4x melta or 4x plasma.

Elite: Psyker Battle Squad (6#, 115 pts) *Divination*

Psyker battle squads can not exchange their powers, you're stuck with the standard codex ones. Only the primaris psyker can, but you still can't get divination.

Also, the Chimera is pretty bad here since you can only cast the blast power out of a firing point, you have to disembark to use the LD reduction.

Finally, the squad is useless since it's only four models. Both of your powers are based on the number of models in the unit, and you need more than four to be effective.

Heavy Support: Leman Russ Squadron (1#, 150 pts)

LRBTs are a marginal choice. They're good at one thing (killing marines), but weak at everything else. You might want one, but you certainly don't want to spend all of your heavy support slots on them. If you want to keep 3x LRs, replace them all with LR Demolishers.

Troops: Infantry Platoon (25#, 145 pts)

Again, grenade launchers are worthless. Each infantry squad needs a LC and either a melta or plasma gun. And your PCS needs some kind of weapon, either 4x flamers in a Vendetta (good) or a LC and nothing else (ok).

Also, in general your list is pretty confused. You have a mech element with the HQ, PBS and tanks, but you're also trying to do a foot list with the infantry squads. Either replace the infantry squads with veterans in Vendettas (and yes, you need Vendettas) or drop the Chimeras, give the CCS a LC and no other upgrades, put the PCS in a Vendetta, and drop the PBS entirely.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
