Why is GW currently the second most recommended seller? Whats so good about them given that they are by far the most expensive option?
Confuses me too.
They certainly aren't quicker than Dark Sphere or Rockethobbies for instance; and a good 20% more expensive?
Firestorm were very nice with my Christmas shopping when I couldn't find a particular boardgame anywhere else.
Giftsforgeeks have always been a bit slow and unreliable (i.e. out of stock even though I'd been charged for it) in my experience.
I also like bitsandkits.co. uk/ for bits and pieces.
[edit] Really, no Rockethobbies on the poll? I thought they were one of the better ones.

Has anyone used Mythreal? They seem to do a blanket 30% off GW, which seems... great?

Not a fair poll as usual. Either don't have it or list all the online retailers. It's not fair on those who are in the other categories.
But my penny in the pot. Have ordered from all the above retailers. Only ever use dark sphere and GW again

I'm going to reiterate my recommendation for Troll Trader for anybody looking ot purchase the lines they carry - I placed an order on Saturday, it was sent first thing Monday and I got it on Wednesday. For free postage that's pretty good.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.” |

I use Wargamestore for all my Warmahordes needs. They're the only place that seems to actually have substantial amounts of stock for it, other than waiting for months on end with other suppliers...

Ahhhh thought the design was familiar. Odd that they offer a better discount via Mythreal just now! (30% vs 20%)

Anyone had any problems with Mythreal?
Waiting for an order which is over 2 weeks late, I wouldn't have a problem if they contacted me saying there would be a delay in my order, but so far they haven't replied to my emails/support ticket or facebook messages... Their phone just rings out when you phone.
the 30% discount isn't worth it tbh.

Mythreal =, renound for their cheap deals but slow service.
You will get your items eventually, I always have, but don’t expect to get anything from them for 1/2 months after ordering. As I tend to be running massively behind in my painting I don’t mind too much – plus I’m aware of the delays – but they should let new customers know about this more than they do.

Triple Helix is my go to right now, good communication and price.
Firestorm are a little more expensive but again have communicated well and been fairly quick.
Mythreal....5 weeks now with nothing received. 'Apparently' it was dispatched on Friday so we'll see if it arrives this week, shocking service and Facebook seems to be the only reliable way of getting a response.
