Really happy with how he came out, specially cause it saves me 20-40 bucks that a mega-armored warboss would cost

I like him. He's a great scratchbuild. Personally, I would alter the paint color on his face to be slightly different than the blue on the metal. Doing so would emphasize that it was painted on flesh (and thus has a different hue) rather than metal. (Otherwise, it makes it look a little like part of his face his part of the armor from a distance.) Also, many, many, many people will probably recommend you drill out the barrels on his gun. I leave the choice to you, but if you choose not to, I recommend at least painting on a black dot for the hole at the end. (It's really hard to get barrels drilled exactly centered. Not even the 'Eavy Metal team can produce consistent results on that score...)

One thing though... you might want to consider putting a piece of white paper behind him when you take photos... I think he would even better without the yellow from the wood behind him.

This was a bitz box dive, so I'll see what I can remember in detail-

The center torso is a nob with a mek head attached to it. The armored part resting on his neck/shoulders comes from the underslung tesla cannon off a necron barge. The legs/klaw arm are made from necron immortal's tesla guns, cut in half and green-stuffed to shape. Tube running from his klaw arm to his jaw is a necron arm, crotchplate is a necron warrior back. The feet, as well as part of the klaw arm, gun arm shoulder, and gold towers on his back are parts from a wraith trans-dimensional beamer, cut up appropriately. Arm itself is a mek arm cut and greenstuffed so that the gun sticks out rather than being held to his body, with a loota's deffgun and ammo drum slapped on the side of that. Assplate was a battlewagon plate cut in half, then with a burna tank thrown on for good measure. all the glowy blue tubes come from various parts of immortal guns, the big stick on his is the shock-prod from the gretchin box, the bosspole from a mek, klaw from the boyz box, attached to the klaw to make it look fancy is a couple of particle casters from triarch praetorians, a couple of unused wraith heads at the base of the kustom-megablasta to hide things like hands and fleshy bits, and from there, the various armor bits from the ork boyz box coat areas of blobby green stuff. I think that covers every bit that I remember

God dammit, looks like i have to go sell a kidney to make the model. The things we do for the ones we love.
