I have had a love, hate relationship with wargaming but am now doing a SM chapter, with lots and lots of custom stuff, would love comments and like to request that nobody bring up the Codex Astartes - my chapter only read the first chapter.
So last fall I tryed to get into 40k with a Vietnam themed Catachan army before losing interest - it just didn't need that much work and most of it looked like everyone else's Catachans.

So now I give you, Marine Recon 1.

1 Sergent, two shotgunners and a sniper (need one more sniper) all with camo cloaks.

next The Master of The Forge, Fisteus Maximus (you got a better idea?)

I made him out of a bits from a Tactical Squad and Devastator Squad, its a great way to save a bit of cash, and looks cooler than the Finecast version.
The power fist counts as a Power Weapon due to a bit of a mix up followed by a fear of prying bits off a finished model.

Now my Assault Squad, very few changes there but most of them have Bolt-Revolvers... Feelin' lucky punk?

They also either cut down or remove their left shoulder pad to reduce weight as well as all wear "Beaky" helmets, why not right?

Now Combat Squad one - close range ballistics

And Combat Squad two - long range anti armor

Will do, I'll also have the second tac squad and last scout up tomorrow. I was trying to take advantage of the beautiful light that was coming though the window, (I also had to compress the pics a lot to get them to upload.)
