1) When determining cover from barrage weapons do you always count it as if the shot was coming from the center of the blast? I don't know why but I always thought you only did that when firing indirectly.. Direct shot=use the rules for blast markers Indirect= use the rules for barrage
2) When firing multiple barrages how do you deal with LOS when, say in a unit of 3 models with barrage weapons 2 have LOS and one doesn't

1) Yes, there isnt a distinction made any longer, that i can find.
2) LOS is, like ever, drawn firing-model to target-unit. Those with LOS have LOS, those without do not.

1) in 6th ed barrage always figures out cover and wounds from the center of the blast marker. Direct or indirect both work like this.

2) What Nos said (Barrage rules P.34 for reference).

For number 2 if it is all one unit, you use the rules for multiple barrages, in which case LOS is dependent only on the closest model firing.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

What Happyjew said, and subsequent shots in a multiple barrage scatter off the first blast marker, regardless of whether the first marker is now in LOS or not.

Yeah, that's how it worked in 5th edition...when you fired directly it basically was resolved completely like a normal blast weapon.

But in 6th, by the RAW the only thing it means to fire indirectly is that you can fire at targets out of line of sight and the firer's BS is not subtracted from the scatter. Beyond that all the other rules regarding resolving barrages are the same whether it is indirect or not.

I'd still love for GW to set it into stone that this is what was intended in a FAQ because it does seem really counter-intuitive to both be firing 'directly' and still be able to snipe models out of units without having to worry about the full 2D6" scatter...but the rules as they stand are pretty darn clear.
