Great, I'll go through my collection and put something together. I've got a bit of hectic schedule atm so it may be a few weeks before I can give this any real time but will get round to it!

PSC models are far superior to anything BF produces, and are incredibly cheap to-boot. If I need any unusual items that PSC doesn't produce I tend to go to Skytrex or FiB. Some of the Skytrex models are a bit ropey, but some are really nice with excellent poses (with the infantry, obviously) so it's just a case of finding a nice piece that they make. I always avoid BF models now after picking up a few in the past and being very disappointed. I also dislike their business ethic so it's a case of voting with my wallet. Automatically Appended Next Post: Zvezda are brilliant also! Picked up a great katyusha and brilliant flammpanzer from them recently.

Eh...
While I like PSC's vehicle for their price and weight, I'd much rather pick up metal infantry from BF or FiB - I don't like plastic in such tiny proportions. I'm not even sold on the new plastic BF infantry.

I have to agree, metal infantry are superior to plastics for their heft and resilience.

I agree as well, as someone who was drawn into the false economy of buying Plastic Infantry.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest! |

I really do not care for the PSC Infantry sets.BF are probably the best if you can handle the sculpts. But i do like the HEavy weapons sets,I just wish the darn models were not multi part.
FOrged in batttle are good ,but i have not any luck with money wise as in not saving any.
example, i bought the PAras.HAd to buy bases and BAzooka gunners from Peter pig. So in the end it would have been cheaper to buy BF.

You've just stated the only real issue I have with FIB. There are just too many little gaps in the range, which forces you to go to other manufactures like Peter Pig to plug them. Once you’ve added in the hassle and two lots of postage costs then you're not really saving anything over just buying the FOW miniatures.
I asked them about this on their Facebook page once when they asked what people wanted and they mentioned that Bazookas and other Anti-Tank teams where on the way. No idea when through, their facebook page hasn’t been updated since the end of February. Hope things are ok with them.

I'm a guy who loves plastic, but I still would rather have 15mm metal infantry over plastic ones.
Although that's purely for durability reasons. Those tiny weapons break incredibly easily on plastic models.
Other wise it'd be plastic all day every day for infantry.
Plastic vehicles however are completely fine.
